…who would smash their guitars on stage? That’s what I did to my Toro 51480 trimmer yesterday. Full of anger and frustration, I smashed it into the concrete walk three times. It was a great stress reliever. I think it broke into six pieces. The shaft was in two pieces. And the others were the head, and three smaller pieces. What led up to this tantrum? The line broke about 30 times in about 12′ of sidewalk edging. It took me about a half hour to edge 12′ of walk. Finally, I had had enough. Then the destruction began. But to be fair, the roots of the grass were thick and tough and tight against the walk because it had been a while since it had been trimmed.

I was impressed with my toro. I finished weeding my yard front and back, and still had string left over. I’m used to spooling at least three times.glad my old weed eater broke down. Its a little heavy,but it dose a great job. Sometimes the spool needs a little help to pull out string. That’s ok.
