I love my Toro trimmer! I can’t comment on longevity as I have only had a couple of weeks. But it works wonderfully! I’ve only used (rented) gas ones before. This is far better. It’s quiet enough that I don’t need ear protection. It’s powerful enough to cut the long grass (in a natural setting). It starts immediately – no tugging on the cord to get it going. And, you don’t smell of gas. I absolutely love it! The telescoping handle is great too. This is a great item for a very reasonable price. Home Depot delivery was quick too.

The best and powerful electrical corded weed trimmer available since the high power version Sears weed-whacker which is no longer available. The Toro string is also very very durable, lasts much longer than most after-market strings. Bought two of these before they quit making them/no longer available as most high quality items seem to disappear and you’re forced to buy over-and-over junk.

Good for edging with adjusting head for the wheel. The latter provided convinience in lieu of rotating the whole unit. It meets my expectation since I used to have Toro trimmer awhile ago. The only negative note is a little heavy for me as non American size.
