The only problem is with the Mfr description states it is a back pack bag. Unless I am really dumb, I can’t figure out how it is a back pack. I am short and it would be really helpful not to drag the bag along the side of me. Other wise it mulched the leaves well so I only had 2 bags instead of 3 or more.

Why change? My first Toro Blower/vac lasted 12 years, and only required replacement because the power cord pulled out of the housing. The new design on the current model eliminates this as an issue.The Toro has plenty of air velocity as a blower for my needs, and the vac/leaf shredder makes leafing in the flower & shrub beds a one step solution. Plus, the price was right!

As a blower is a great machine, beside the fact you need to carry the extension cord all over your yard, but as a vacuum/mulcher it is too slow to finish your job on time, or at least, you better try with a small amount of leaves.

I will be using the Toro Vacuum/Blower, just as a vacuum since I have a few blowers already. I used my prior blower for about five years – different brand, just wasn’t working all that great anymore. I wanted to try a different brand, as the new version of the vacuum I had seemed to big and cumbersome, when I checked it out at the store.I have used the Toro Vacuum once and I like it! I used it for a couple hours cleaning up leaves and some very small sticks. It mulched what I cleaned up to the point, when I dumped the bag a few times, I couldn’t tell what I had cleaned-up. So it mulched well!I am 63 and female. The main piece is sort of heavy, then add the tube and bag – well, I wasn’t sure how it would feel when in use. I must say I was pleasantly surprised when using it, that it was very comfortable. When it is turned on, the vacuum blows air into the bag making it move upwards. The piece of equipment was balanced quite well, with the bag strap properly sized/set.I liked using it! I think I will be very happy with it for years to come. I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO OTHERS.

This Toro blower/vacuum/mulcher has changed my life! It tremendously reduces the number of disposal bags I need for autumn leaves to the point where I’m sure it has paid for itself in just a couple of years. And the time I spend with yard chores for fall clean up has plummeted too! The Toro has reduced days of work into just hours. I use it to suck leaves out of my river rock. It gets leaves out of nooks and crannies along edging and even picks up leaves that normally get missed by the rake. When the Toro sucks up something too bug or hard to mulch (like sourgum balls and twigs), you’ll know it. It makes very loud noises until I turn off the vacuum and let the object(s) fall out of the chute. Then I pick those up and resume. In 7 years I have never had a problem with this machine. I bought one for my mom for Christmas after she shot me a photo of about 40 bags of leaves she just raked this autumn. Buy one for yourself and then buy one for everybody you love.
