I’ve been using this tool for many years and it is fabulous, especially the vacuum feature. 2 or 3 bags of leaves instead of 20+. Super powerful as a blower.

The Toro blower/vacuum/mulcher performs very well. The vacuum attachment is a little long for a person of 5’5″ but manageable for short periods of time. I use the vacuum to pick up spilled/spent birdseed and it works very well, picks up the seed but no rocks. This is my first blower and I am happy with it.

LOVE this new purchase! It is a little heavier than I would like but if that is what it takes to do the job it does, I’m all in! I am VERY impressed by what this can do! To my surprise, it leaves the mulch and acorns on the ground and seems to hone in on only the leaves. Amazing!

Upon first glance, I could tell that the package had been previously opened and re taped. There were some minor scratches on the product as well. I like to receive a brand new item when I make a purchase. Not sure if product has some imperfections as it will not be used until the fall when the leaves begin to fall.

This Toro UltraPlus Leaf Blower,Vacuum/Mulcher replaced a Toro Blower/Vacuum I had for 10 years. Toto makes high quality products. The UltraPlus is even better than the first one. Does a better job of mulching leaves. I spread the mulched leaves in the flower beds prior to my annual bed mulching. They will compost under the mulch and enrich the soil.

the bag that catches the items the Vac sucks up had a hole in it where the bag connects to the tube that connects to the blower/vac. So as I am sucking up leaves and debris it gets shot out of that hole.

Works O.K. but, is heavy and awkward. There are a lot of removable parts to go from vac to blower. The little safety switch on my unit will sometimes disengage, causing unitto stop. James

The bag started to come apart near the attachment piece that connects to the blower after about an hour of use. Same thing happened in the same spot on my last Toro blower/vacuum/mulcher. That’s what prompted me to purchase this new one. Metal blades unlike the old one, so it IS heavier and bulkier. Other than that, it works well.

So far so good with this machine. I’ve used it about 3 times now to clear my yard of leaves before mowing. I would say that the vacuum is far more useful than the blower. I have been using the blower to get the leaves in the same general area. Once this is done I use a rake to make a nice pile. I then switch over to vacuum mode and suck away. I was surprised how easily the little twigs get broken up in the impeller. The bigger sticks won’t get sucked up as they are too heavy. We have a big compost pile in the back so having the leaves all chopped up makes the processing that much faster. I would say that if you have to pay for yard waste collection this will be a big money saver. For the stuff I don’t compost I get about a 6:1 ratio for bag usage. Meaning if I didn’t have the vacuum impeller I would need 6 brown bags, but only need 1 and it is really heavy once it is filled. Hopefully it lasts because it is definitely a lot more efficient than raking leaves and trying to squeeze them into a yard waste bag.

The weight of this tool is not too heavy, its simple engine system makes it easy to be maintained and cleaned, while it is very powerful for blowing and vacuuming leaf. The reduce ratio of vacuum is 1 leaf broken into average 2 or 4 or much smaller pieces, good enough for my lawn in Virginia. This tool save me about $495 fall leaf fee in Year 2019. Also, I had had shoulder pain after sitting in front of a computer for too many hours a day for many years. Now, the pain is healed after I clean the leaf in year 2019 and sleep better. The only one thing that I would learn from the manufacturer – why so many dogs are barking at me while I am vacuuming leaf? The dog owners told me that the while TORO leaf collection bag becomes so big w/ the air scaring the dogs that the walking-by dogs immediately react and are barking at the large while bag. Is it true? If yes, can please add this in TORO manual as a guideline so that I can share this information with the dog owners to stay away while I am vacuuming leaf using this tool?

Disappointed in underwhelming blowing power

I like the improvements in it. The attachment on the end of blower makes it easier to direct the leaves. And the added attachments under the motor is better when you set it down the motor doesn’t sound like it’s working hard.

I’ve been needing a leaf blower for quite some time and found great reviews in this product. It has been easy to use and effective thus far. The real test will be in the fall and I am looking forward to this being the solution uve needed.

Machine is unreal. Powerful vacuum didn’t disappoint. Capable of picking up pine needles! Highly recommend!

Very powerful, but hate having to disassemble to switch to vacuum.

Replaces crappy Worx blower vac that replaced 15+ year old Toro previous model. Meets my expectations well, just like the older Toro did. Especially like the metal blower rotor.

Easy to assemble. Worked well right out of the box. Shreds dry leaves very effectively.

I purchased this item to replace and upgrade from another make of leaf vac. that broke after 10+ years. I found the impeller chamber quickly caked-up with finely ground leaves, to the point that the impeller started to slow, if the leaves were damp (as is often the case in the Fall). The design of the impeller chamber makes it hard to remove the accumulated crud, but with patience and the help of a Popsicle stick it can be done. After a good cleaning and a shot of silicon spray, the chamber didn’t foul up again. However, small sticks (that would have easily passed through the impeller) had a tendency to lodge at the top of the black vacuum tube which then became blocked with leaves, with the result that the tube had to be removed and cleared 2 to 3 times per bag full. The tab to unlatch the tube is stiff and the tube is awkward to remove making the whole operation quite frustrating. Also, the variable speed control which serves as the on-off switch does not have a “click to off” position, so the motor would sometimes start to operate when the device was plugged in. The cord lock seemed to be designed for 14 gauge extension cords, but did not handle thicker 12 gauge cords well.On the plus side, the unit seemed relatively sturdy, the leaf bag was large (but probably better suited to taller people) and the resulting mulch was finely chopped and should compost well.If you have mature trees that drop the occasional twigs or might have to vacuum leaves when they are damp, I would not recommend this unit. I had expected better performance from a Toro machine.

This is by far, the very best blower/vacuum on the market today. The vacuum is incredibly powerful … Used it several times already and remember thinking it sucks more than my Shop Vac. None better.

You need to buy an extension cord but it works perfectly.
