About the same weight as my loud, smoky vibrating Poulan whacker. This Toro is an actual joy to use. I am constantly looking grass to cut with it. Two major speed setting with the variable hand grip. I leave in setting 1 which is perfect for normal edging with maximum battery life. 100 lb. wife is now happy she can use it whenever she wishes. Very recommended.

Easy to assemble and use. Not too heavy. So much better than gas powered I have owned. Great value for the price. I researched a lot before I purchased. The 3 year warranty was an important consideration. It’s better than certain comparable trimmers. Warranty includes the rotor head, which is the most likely part to malfunction.

The Toro 60V string trimmer that includes the battery pack is a good value compared to competing brands that primarily market the bare tool. The cutting performance is very good with long battery life for the average size property. The only concern is the weight and balance of the unit with the battery installed. The available locations on the shaft for the handle do not fully balance the unit, so the tool feels top heavy during operation.

Great work tool, quiet operation and lots of power. I used my Toro 40 volt for years so the 60v is lightweight by comparison. The manuals instructions to load and wind string were off, but if you have trouble making it wind, just eyeball it.
