My number 1 objective was to have the battery last long enough to complete the job at hand. I researched almost every cordless, brushless brand in the market. Toro’s 60V system has a battery (smaller one) that lasts up to 1 hr on a charge at lower speed … that is more than enough power to cut through thick weeds and grass. The unit is well balanced; this depends somewhat on your height and arm length. I found that if I comfortably rest my forearm to the elbow on the battery pack at the end of the unit, balance is perfect. Vibration is low and unit is quiet.

The 60V Toro is great. I have a acre of land and lot to keep up with and my new Toro is up to the job. The string feeder design works great, I don’t miss mixing the gas, and the 60 V battery has plenty of power. I really like is how quiet it is. I can get to work as early in the morning as I want and plug my ear buds in and listen to my music and the not bother my neighbors . My 12 yr old Gas Toro wacker is still working and I hope my new cordless last ad long.
