I bought this strings trimmer several weeks ago after having purchased a 60V Toro lawnmower in May. This trimmer is very powerful and does a great job. Changing the string is very easy to do, much easier than my old Stihl gas trimmer. I really love the 60V battery technology. it is much quieter than gas devices and seems more powerful.

This weed trimmer is light yet powerful. It easily handles my 1 acre area, although I have to change out the battery before the job is complete. I am new to the yard work scene due to a recent situation and, being left with gas powered commercial grade equipment, I found keeping up with my large yard difficult as I am a petite female. I purchased the Toro weed trimmer and hedge trimmer and am fully capable now of performing the job without tiring. It is easy to start and light weight and I have found that doing the yardwork is enjoyable with the right tools.

Overall, I love my new toy! First time buying a weed wacker. It requires getting used to. It’s a bit heavy but you get used to it and it’s quite long for a 5’5″ tall guy. The battery is huge but it performs well. But I wish the battery performance could keep its consistency with power. It definitely lasts me about an hour of use; however, after about 20 minutes the power goes down while cutting the grass ok. One disappointing point is that there is no good instruction on how to use (e.g. changing the string, etc.) so I am giving it a 4-star.
