Love this tool. The rotating cutting blade makes it very versatile and user friendly. It is a bit heavy but not overly cumbersome.

Better than expected. Since I purchased only used it once, but it was easy to use and light weight. Thanks very much Cevin

This trimmer is everything you could ask for. Gave it to my son for Christmas. I ended up borrowing it to trim my hedge. It was great. The battery life is excellent and it did the job. I was very pleased. I recommend this trimmer for jobs around your home landscape. It advertises that the battery will last enough to trim 2 ft. wide by 300 yards. I believe it. It’s a bit heavier than I thought, but it wasn’t an issue.

I bought this tool a few weeks ago and use it around the house. It is easy enough to use and does a great job cutting branches up to 3/4″ in diameter (it does take more time). Makes quick work of normal growth on bushes. The tool doesn’t feel too heavy and is pretty easy to maneuver around when trimming. I rated it 4 stars because of how the switches for turning on the tool work. There are two switches on either side of the handle where you squeeze the trigger that have to be pushed along with the switch on the grab bar. If there was a way to lock the trigger switch down so all the user had to do was activate and deactivate the switch on the grab bar, it wouldn’t be so awkward. Over time I will probably get used to it. There is a blue button on top to rotate the handle for easier cutting angles (this is one feature I chose this model and brand over some others for).Battery life seems great so far. I am able to finish my whole job on half a battery (around 45 min of cutting)Overall a great trimmer and I would recommend it!

Expensive, but does the job. Heavy too, but thats ok if you are not using continuously for more than 10 minutes at a time. Self sharpening blades look sharp, need to see if they will stay so.

Powerful. Works great. Made clearing the dense growth around my pond a breeze. Highly recommend

Cut great through 15-20 medium bushes and still had juice. Unit is a little heavy but manageable and beats a corded unit on convenience alone

Everthing I was hopeing for, easy to control, cuts large branch, charges fast, long battery life, I cant say this is the best one but I can say this is a good one.

It works very well and battery lasts a long time. I would give it 5 stars but my only concern for some people is that it may be a bit heavy because of the bigger battery.

If you are in this battery platform then just get this. It’s smooth, cuts well and the rotating handle makes vertical trimming a breeze!

This hedge trimmer is large enough and powerful enough to handle most any trimming job. It’s a little heavier than a corded one because of the battery, but it’s still very easy to handle. It’s also nice not to have to deal with a cord. The handle actually rotates and locks into different positions to make it more comfortable for holding and cutting at different angles. There is a safety mechanism that prevents you from accidentally starting it just by grabbing it. The trimmer also shuts off automatically if you let go of the handle. The blades came sharp and lubricated well. There is a hole on the end piece for hanging it in storage. It also comes with a plastic sleeve that covers the blades when not in use.The battery has indicator lights to show you how charged it is and the charger can be wall mounted if you want. The trimmer ran very consistent with no fluctuations in power and made quick work of my hedges. I was able to all 5 large and 10 small hedges without using up the battery, so I think for any regular home use the battery life is plenty long.

Surprisingly light to hold. Nice pivot when you want to cut the sides of the hedge. Fits good in your hand.

Excellent power, run-time, and cut action. To get those features means a large heavy battery. There is a lot to like about this new Toro hedge trimmer. The power rivals gas powered units. The blades on the cutter were sharp and did a better job cutting than my corded hedger. But to get those 60 volts and 2.5 Ah out of this unit means a lot of cells in the battery. And that means weight. Yes it’s heavy (9.9 lbs with battery by my scale). More than double the weight of my corded hedger (but less than the 11.1 lb Kobalt 80v). The Toro is well balanced and much easier to handle over a corded trimmer. I trimmed an 75 ft long 6 foot tall hedge and several bushes (see photos) and used just half the battery. I was also impressed with the charger. I topped off the battery after that job in just 30 minutes. Price wise the Toro is right in the mix with the others (Ego, Kobalt, Echo, etc) at $199 with a single battery (March 2020). I rate this Toro a solid ‘B’.

This 60V hedge trimmer is my new favorite yard toy! Fun to use while it’s getting the job done, NO CORD REQUIRED! This hedge trimmer from Toro’s amazing 60V platform of products makes the detailing of your well-manicured yard a breeze! No cords or gas fumes and far superior to it’s 40V predecessor in terms of power and speed and the ease of switching the battery or taking on /off the charger makes it child’s play! the design of the teeth make it nearly impossible to get tangled in thicker shrubs and allow your creativity to show! I now have 4 models from this platform and am not done yet! Why would you ever use anything else?
