Having to hold the throttle and safety switch while trying to pull the start cord and also backing off the choke is taking safety to new standard of stupidity. Great to use after starting and switching to an edger, blower or bush hog are wonderful options.

Easy to start and runs well. It is well built but not too heavy. I was going back and forth between this model and the Ryobi and the Toro is much sturdier and doesn’t feel plastic and cheap. Haven’t tried any attachments yet so I cannot report on those. The line that comes pre-installed isn’t the best quality so I would recommend changing it out immediately. It cut much better once I made the change.

This is my 3rd toro gas trimmer. It has plenty of power, easy to start, kinda light weight and most importantly it accepts attachments. I stick with what works.

I would recommend mostly because very few gas powered products are available. Corded and battery are useless away from any power source for recharging. Another case where solar is useless. The string became tangled in spool with the original factory string.
