This cable is very sturdy and I am confident it will last a long time. The only down side is that it is pretty stiff, not as flexible as some might prefer.

I bought three of these to power/charge my iPad Pro while traveling. Seems to be a nice quality durable product. Its not exactly a right angle, but more of a 45 degree. If you think you have a bad cable, however, turn the iPad side plug the other way. These seem to charge the iPad when oriented one way only.
