The PET polymer woven jacket is chemical-, heat-, and abrasion-resistant and features slim tips that allow you to charge your device without taking off its case. A built-in circuit breaker monitors incoming voltage in real-time and automatically shuts off power to the connected device when damaging voltage or current is detected. With reaction time of less than 10 ms, this cable protects connected devices and resets the circuit breaker once the current returns to a safe range. LED lights indicate the status of protection.

This cable is definitely sturdy and rugged, but the Micro-USB connector doesn’t connect well with my LG phone. The connector has too much “play” in the fitting and consequently the charging process is difficult and sporadic.
