The TP-Link RE505X AX1500 Wireless 2-Band Range Ext. was easy to install via the WPS button on my Internet WiFi Router. I now have additional extensive and stable WiFi coverage of at least 30 meters (90 feet) on both bands 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz! The installation was basically Plug & Play since the unit has an 100V – 240V 50Hz/60Hz coverage! Thanks for delivering such magnificent WiFi extender B&H!! R.E.S. Pieternella, CURACAO.

We have a long, skinny 2BR apartment in a pre-war building. The router at one end didn’t reach the back bedroom through the thick walls, but plugging this in at the other end did the trick with power to spare. My teenage daughter set it up easily. Only disadvantage is that it provides a -EXT network (though with same login credentials) rather than just extending the primary network.

If you don’t have the range of technologies that they assume you have this is not an easy plug and play system. They assume a smart phone and PCs are on wifi, rather that wired. Still not functioning after an hour with their tech assistance.

We have a TP Link Archer WiFi 6 (AX) router. The signal is weak in the house annex. So, we purchased this AX extender. The signal is now much stronger. The extender uses the same password, but unfortunately, doesn’t use the same connection names. So, for example, if you are connected to 5G on original router, you have to reconnect to 5G-EXT when you move from house to annex and vice versa.

Easy setup with the TP-Link app. Effective device that allowed dead spots in the 2.4 and 5 G bands at the end of a 3000 sq. ft home to become hot. Additionally the ability to join a TP-Link mesh network in the future is insured when I upgrade my router to Wi-Fi 6
