Add the TL-SG1024S 24-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Switch from TP-Link to your network and take advantage of energy-efficient technology designed to reduce power consumption. This switch comes equipped with 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports with support for 802.3x flow control for full-duplex mode and backpressure for half-duplex mode. Additional functions include a non-blocking switching architecture, auto-MDI/MDIX support, MAC address auto-learning and auto-aging, and much more. Once installed, the TL-SG1024S network switch features a 48 Gb/s switching capacity and a 35.7 Mpps forwarding rate to ensure the switch operates smoothly even under demanding network conditions.

Have several of these installed, both in a rack and on a shelf. Solid switches, never had a problem for the 2 plus years of using them. Does not get too hot, just a little warm. No noise at all.

Plug an play was easy. Low power draw and picked up all ports seemlessly. The mounting brackets constrained the install space a bit. If you’re tight on space or have an odd cabinet, check the PDF install for bracket and mounting dimensions. If it’s going on a table top or shelf, no problems.

If you are looking for a good, simple to install, switch- then this one is for use. This switch is a fanless design, making it very quiet. One thing to keep in mind is that if you plan on rack mounting it, this particular model will not fit in a standard rack. Also, this switch is unmanaged, a simple plug and play design. So far, I have had no issues with it and it has worked flawlessly- I use this switch in my home, from witch I remote into work from. I have used VPN’s, large files and all that fun, and the switch has worked great. I would recommend this switch to anyone needing a simple , 24 port, plug and play switch.
