The switch is great, and performs better than the atypical gigabit switch. I wish it was a little more affordable though.

I am still impressed with my TP-Link switch and router. Neither are cantankerous or unreliable. They just work as advertised. Both the router and switch are in hotter environments. My several name brand, more expensive gamer high speed router and switches all seems to fade in the heat, eventually dying in 2 or less years. Way too expensive for marginable reliability and inconsistent speed. It appears with my TP-Link I may not have to buy a new ones soon. My needs are pretty simple. I don’t need to be the fastest game in town, just transfer large files reliably and keep working. These continues to be all I could ask for.
