I really like Tramontina products and this 5qt stainless steel Dutch oven will be the workhorse of the kitchen for almost every cooking task. I like having several different types of materials for pots and pans and stainless works great. You can boil,bake,stew,fry and roast in this pot. Use low to medium-high for cooking because high temps will cause things to burn and stick and smoke. It’s oven safe up to 500’ and will get hot so use mitts to safely handle. Clean up is easy and although you can use a dishwasher it’s best to hand wash and use soap and water and if there are persistent stains or stucks use Barkeepers Friend for all your cleaning because it works really well.

This is an excellent pot for the price. Heavy and at 5 qt. a good size to replace a 6 qt Dutch oven that I can longer lift easily. Much lighter weight than enameled cast iron Dutch oven. I would recommend.

Food sticks to bottom of pan but does come off easily with soaking a little water in it after it cools off. I used oil in the pan when cooking with it and food still stuck.
