A braising pan makes me think of roast pork and potatoes.. …. This pan will do the trick if you want to make a really good dinner. It is heavy, cast iron with a nice glazed type finish on it and should last for generations. Your grand children will enjoy this pan Lord Willing. The lid fits right and the handles on the pan are cast in place and can not come loose. The lid has a bolted on knob and should be checked for tightness every so often. It is a good serviceable pan, and looks nice!

Used it for the first time and am very pleased with it. It does not stick. I followed the instructions and seasoned the rim of both the cover and pan. So far, so good. Can’t wait to try other recipes. The braising pan is quite heavy and I hope it lasts for many years. Seems like a good product!

Coordinates well with my dutch oven. Used a few times so far and very satisfied with the even cooking. Wish I had bought it sooner as I enjoy cooking.

Like it as a braised but feel it is over pricedWish they would make the handles heat resistant

I ordered this Braising Pan after I purchased their Oval Dutch Oven a’d Saucier Pot. See… I said I would buy more…lol. Can’t help it…they cook and clean up like a dream. Ordered it and like my previous order it arrived early..as a matter of fact I got it the next day. These pots and pans are amazing…and I will order others until I have all I need to cook, which is my passion. I also feel good knowing that down the line these will go to those I love…continuing to make good memories.

Love it. The ONLY thing I would change is it’s size. I’d like it to be 3 quart size rather than 4. Just for easier handling.
