This is a nice little set that can be used outdoors with any BBQ grill. Because of their 15 inch size, I would say they can also be used indoors too! Both are very light in the hand, which are perfect! They are high-carbon stainless steel with a “polywood” handle. I don’t know what polywood is, but it looks very nice! They are dishwasher safe, but I would not recommend it since it is a wood or wood composite. The directions say it is preferred to hand wash – and oddly enough to not soak them. They come with a 25 year warranty and are made in Brazil, but designed and packaged in the United States. I had never heard of Travontine, but they have been around since 1911 according to the packaging. So they have been around for a while.
