I have to admit I really like this juicer. I’m still trying to figure a couple things out. Such as when juicing celery, even though I cut the celery into small stalks the pulp opening is getting stuck and clogging it. Maybe it’s not meant to handle celery or I’m doing something wrong. Everything else I’ve used is working perfect.Other than that I like it. It’s not very hard to clean, the first time was time consuming but now I found the best method. I hope it will last year’s to come

I love this little juicer and take it with me in my RV. I have an older Greenstar and a Slowstar and use this one daily for making my 16oz straight celery juice (recommended by Medical Medium Anthony William). I cut the celery into thin pieces about 1/2-1″ and it goes right through with hardly a need to plunge it. Then I make my green juice using cut-up fruits/vegs: parsley, burdock root, apples, asparagus ends, cucumbers, and whatever else I have, finishing with celery to clean it all out. This little juicer loves making melon juice from the rind, too; that’s where the best nutrition is (in the rinds and stems of f&v’s), so don’t discard your stems! I love teaching others how to juice for healing and just love Tribest’s variety of quality products. When I first received my Shine, I used it for a year daily. I travel with it in my RV too, so light and small even for taking flying. I’m a Holistic RN and teach classes and juicing as well as plant-based nutrition. I juice over 32 ounces of pure Celery daily (consumed separately) plus a green juice with cucumbers, asparagus, greens, apples, etc. I also juice 5 lbs organic ginger every 5 months to freeze in small ice cube tray for easy use in our morning quart of honey/lemon/ginger water for liver rehydration and support. Citrus Juice is extremely healthy for you, especially Lemon Juice! Every day I drink lemon water for all the health benefits that it has, but orange, lime and grapefruit are also very healthy for the body. I’ve recently started zesting the lemon peel and added it to my lemon water, with some apple cider vinegar. I received the Tribest Citristar Citrus Juicer to review! When I first used this juicer, I fell in love with it. This juicer is absolutely AWESOME and I would highly recommend it! Before I got this juicer I had a different brand juicer and it was rather noisy. Plus it seemed like it had a lot of pieces to it. This juicer is so easy to operate and it does a superb job on getting every last drop of citrus out of the rind.

Though we've never juiced before, I knew that trying a low-end machine would probably set me up for failure. After researching to the point of driving the rest of my family crazy, the Shine Kitchen Co, Cold Press Vertical Slow Juicer seemed to be a desirable mid-level option.Three weeks and 16 quarts of celery juice later (the entire household drinks some every day), my husband’s gout is back under control and I’m pleased with the juicer. Cutting the stalks into 1 – 2 inch chunks prevents jamming by long strings and doesn't take long since I already have the knife out to break up the bunches. The machine fits under the cupboard over the kitchen counter. There are minimal parts and the more I use it, the faster I get at putting it back together. The silicon seal is still frustrating me but that will probably come with practice too. Overall, I’m quite satisfied with the purchase.

My Braun Citromatic gave up after 5-6 years of great use. Braun does not make that for USA market, only 220V for european market. I was looking for something as good as Braun but did not see any. Some brands just did not look good. Finally after couple of years, I saw this citristar. This is a very good, beautifull and aesthetic looking. Works great and I can leave it on counter top and do not need to hide it in the cabinet. Easy to clean, well made. I like the long cord (not like othesr that give you 2-3 ft). Cord is long enough that while juicing, I put the juicer in the sink to avoid any splatters etc. Very happy with my purchase.
