This was a gift for my brother, he did not want a centrifugal juicer which has blades and is basically a blender that juices. He wanted a masticating juicer like this one that squeezes the fruit. He loves it and it works perfectly. Since it is vertical it is much easier to store and occupies less space. Would 10/10 reccommend.

There is something so satisfying about throwing fruits and veggies into this juicer and see it create fibrous pulp and juice. Its very powerful, the motor didn’t slow when I fed it beets, carrots, apples, lemons, celery, and kale. The juice it produces is excellent to match juice cleanse juices we used to order and ship to our house. This set-up is really nice quality. I use the supplied brush to make clean-up easy. We have used this multiple times and no deterioration. High quality parts and easily dish-washable. Nice safety features make sure everything is locked before it turns on. The juicer takes reasonable sized chunks of fruits/veggies but oversized items need to be trimmed to a manageable size. This is not a big concern and we really enjoyed the machine and juice it made with us. thumbs up recommended.

Very easy to use, pretty easy to assemble, a bit of effort to clean, but worth it! This thing has handled almost everything I’ve put in it. The noise level is minimal as I can hear the TV or radio while it’s in use. I purchased this unit because the reviews mentioned it juiced celery well and it does without clogging.

The Shine Vertical Slow Juicer (model SJV-107) is a fairly compact unit the slow/macerates the fruit over the high speed shredding juicers. We also one a shredding model and this unit is quieter and works as well as our fancy larger juicer. We have used it with apples, oranges, grapes, strawberries and it performed flawlessly. It never bogged down and kept up with the speed my daughter could load the fruit in (see video). The juice is near pulb free and quite tasty. Clean up afterwards was fast with a bit of soapy water and using the included brush.

This is a great little Juicer for the price. You get a very nice product with a long warranty. I bought this from a recommendation of a friend and it was a surprise for me as to how well it preformed. It handled everything I put into it and had no problem with the various products I put into it. The pulp came out very dry and that told me that this Juicer was maximizing all that the fruit or veggie’s I put into it had to offer. It was no problem cleaning up after, it took me about 5 minutes to clean. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs an entry level Juicer. This beats any centrifugal Juicer on the market. It has a smaller auger but very efficient and runs very quietly.

If you are looking for portability like we were this is a good solution.It produces almost the same amount of juice as my Nama which is pretty amazing. The juice itself however is pulpier and for our taste requires straining. Also the smallest strainer holes in the juicer get filled quickly and probably account for the pulp output. All in all quite satisfied with the juicer and would recommend it to those who want to continue juicing while away from home.

I have to admit I really like this juicer. I'm still trying to figure a couple things out. Such as when juicing celery, even though I cut the celery into small stalks the pulp opening is getting stuck and clogging it. Maybe it's not meant to handle celery or I'm doing something wrong. Everything else I've used is working perfect.Other than that I like it. It's not very hard to clean, the first time was time consuming but now I found the best method. I hope it will last year's to come

The Juicer set is very functional and beautiful, it’s definitely one of the best juicers I have ever had. It works amazing and the motor looks to be having more strength and juices to the last drop. I tried oranges in it and it was a perfect juice in one tumbler and another one with the remaining pulp. The packing of the item is very strong and arrived exactly how it is shown, it occupies less shelf space.

A friend convinced me that celery juice would help my husband's gout. After trying some store-bought celery juice, I decided we needed to be able to make our own. Though we've never juiced before, I knew that trying a low-end machine would probably set me up for failure. After researching to the point of driving the rest of my family crazy, the Shine Kitchen Co, Cold Press Vertical Slow Juicer seemed to be a desirable mid-level option.Three weeks and 16 quarts of celery juice later (the entire household drinks some every day), my husband’s gout is back under control and I’m pleased with the juicer. Cutting the stalks into 1 – 2 inch chunks prevents jamming by long strings and doesn't take long since I already have the knife out to break up the bunches. The machine fits under the cupboard over the kitchen counter. There are minimal parts and the more I use it, the faster I get at putting it back together. The silicon seal is still frustrating me but that will probably come with practice too. Overall, I’m quite satisfied with the purchase.

When I first received my Shine, I used it for a year daily. I travel with it in my RV too, so light and small even for taking flying. I’m a Holistic RN and teach classes and juicing as well as plant-based nutrition. I juice over 32 ounces of pure Celery daily (consumed separately) plus a green juice with cucumbers, asparagus, greens, apples, etc. I also juice 5 lbs organic ginger every 5 months to freeze in small ice cube tray for easy use in our morning quart of honey/lemon/ginger water for liver rehydration and support. Pros: slow speed, relatively inexpensive and smaller foot print. Cons: product spec states it’s made with stainless steel, however, after a couple of usage, 3 screws at the bottom of juicing cup rusted. The product construction is a little flimsy, which was observed during juicing and difficulty of dissembling after juicing. Do not wish anyone who had this experience to recommend this product to me, therefore I don’t want to recommend to others.

awesome juicer, can definitely taste the difference and the amount of juice is much more than your average juicer. Only down side is taking apart the juicer. That top part that disassembles first can get tricky. Other than that I highly recommend it. Great investment!

I bought this after watching reviews on why slow juices are better for producing tastier and more nutritious juices than centrifugal ones. And this met my expectations. It takes about 10 minutes to wash and put the fruit and vegetables in and get amazing juices. You’re not meant to run the motor that much longer anyway this is fine for 3 to 4 juices
