The Triton TWSS10 benchtop Wetstone Sharpener is fitted with a pre-dressed, high-grade, grindstone and leather honing wheel. The slow-speed Wetstone sharpener produces a polished, razor-sharp edge on cutting and shaping tools. Used in conjunction with the supplied honing compound the leather honing wheel delivers a finely polished finish, ideal for hand tools, knives, plane irons/blades, chisels and other wood-carving tools. Using the support arm, angle guide and jig, it is easy to shape and sharpen a blade precisely to the angle required.
- Ideal for hand tools, knives, plane irons/blades, chisels and other wood-carving tools
- Rubber feet keep the machine steady and minimize vibration for a perfect finish
- 120-watt induction motor provides long-lasting, smooth performance
- High-grade grindstone can be easily re-dressed with the provided stone grader
- Edges won’t overheat or lose their sharpness due to the water-cooled, slow-speed of the grindstone

Very well packed for home deliveries. The unit is manufactured well and the overall quality is quite good. There are two drawbacks to this Sharpener. The first is the lack of holders for knives and scissors. You only receive a tool holder that works mainly for chisels and plane blades. The other is that the on/off switch is on the back of the machine – but that is just an inconvenience. There are lots of videos online to watch and emulate so you can sharpen like a pro. The manual is worthless but the videos offer lots of tips that would probably not be in the manual any way. I sharpened all my chisels — even ones that were badly damaged from drops. I free-hand sharpened our kitchen knives to a great edge. It takes a little practice so start out with a knife that you can sacrifice. I have ordered the long blade holder and the scissor holder. Make sure and have a tray under the unit for splashes. I feel that this is a tool that will last a long time and was almost half the price of comparable machines. Home Depot had the best price. If you use your sharp tools a lot and don’t want to spend time on your flat stone, this is a good bet.

Arrived in excellent condition. Arbor has sealed bearings instead of cheap bushings. Grinding wheel had a significant wobble, but was corrected with shims between the grinding wheel and wheel flanges. Would be great if unit was sold with knife holding clamps. Overall, much better than the cheaper units and a as good the expensive ones, IMHO.

Absolutely a fantastic sharpener. I’ve been sharpening knives for years by hand with Japanese waterstones. All of our kitchen knives are high end from Japan. The sharpener makes quick work to reset the bevel. Triton is a great company too. The unit arrived with a small chip on the edge of the grindstone likely from shipment. I notified them of the damage and they sent me a new stone immediately!

Works well. Looks like and works like the Tormek without the price.
