Easy to use and runs great

The hardest part was getting the gas in the line to start. But cranks like a charm and cuts better than I thought. The oil cap is a little hard where it is, but overall a good lawnmower.
Della Welch (verified owner) –
Only problem was the bag that the oil comes in had a hole in it. Oil all over the new mower

Very nice machine for the money. Easy to setup and very easy to start. Five cutting levels, very easy to push, nice that back wheel is larger than front. I would recommend it to anyone.

I have only had the mower for 3 weeks. I have a small front and rear yard. I have cut the grass twice and i have mulched the leaves three times. The motor started on the second pull the first time i started the motor. It has since started on the first or second pull each time i have started the motor. I like the internal mechanical governor on the motor, very responsive. Mower mulches very well.

From out of the box this mower (Walk Behind TB100) was easy to assemble – which consisted of simply unfolding and elongating the handle bar. It’s been quite a while since I had to purchase a new mower, so I found the instructions (in the manual) to be clear – especially with adding engine oil BEFORE first use and other essential info. The mower handled the various terrains without issue. The wheels – rear and front – are easily adjustible to accomodate this (my lawn is not hilly – but there are a couple slopes…but none higher than prohibited). Speaking of wheels, I like the design/function of having larger wheels on the back. The prime and pull function starts without issue. Note – Troy-bilt has uploaded some excellent YouTube tutorial videos – so if you do find that you experience issues with unboxing or starting or mainting your mower, I strongly suggest taking a look at those.

Bought it for semi-rough uneven terrain and it cut down 3 foot high weeds and grass. It gave me a good workout but set at it’s highest height it avoided the rocks below. I have since removed the rocks, lowered the height, and it does a great job in the mulching mode. It has started every time on the first pull. Highly recommended!
