This tore right through my yard with ease. My old mower broke down and my grass was pretty high and it cut the grass right down. It maneuvers nicely. Assembly was super easy didnt even need the hubby’s help 🙂 Came with its own oil too! just need to add gas, dump the oil in, attach the handle and your good to go.

This is a great light duty mower. If you have a medium sized yard you will enjoy this mower. It is light and it has started first pull every time and does the job well. The only problems i found were:Light Duty – My grass gets a little tall and thick sometimes and that coupled with any wetness has allowed grass to accumulate under the mower deck and it does give the blade a little trouble. Most times i just have to push down on the handle and lift the deck and it spits enough out to keep on keeping on. This is not a heavy duty mower.Small gas tank – the Home Depot specs say this mower holds .2 gallons. I have a decent medium sized yard and it has been fine, but one time i stopped to fidget with my phone too much and i needed a refill to finish. If you have a really large yard it might take a fillup to get it all.TL;DR – good cheap light duty mower

This mower is lightweight and glides pretty easily. It has a precise cut, covers a wide area and makes mowing the lawn a little less of a chore. I would recommend it to others for sure.

I love this 21″ Troybilt 2 in 1 mower. It’s light weight and powerful. I bought it to use for a trim mower. I have a 46″ lawn tractor that I use as my primary mower but in order to test this Troybilt push mower I have push mowed my 1.25 acre lawn twice with the Troybilt. I am almost 72 years old and I have no problem with this mower. At 60 pounds, it weighs 28 pounds less than my 11 year old Toro Personal Pace that is no longer self propelled, and I’ve been using it to trim, so the Troybilt feels like its floating across the yard. The plastic flap that covers the discharge port when in mulching mode does not fit tightly against the mower deck, so some small amount of grass clippings do blow out around the mulch cover. In the side discharge mode the clippings are well disbursed with no clumping. I need to refill the gas tank once during the 1.25 acre mow, but the smaller gas tank helps in keeping the overall weight down I am replacing the standard oil drain plug with a metric M10-1.25 male hose connection and an oil drain tube so I can change engine oil without getting oil all over the top of the mower deck. The handle is a bit uncomfortable so I cut a short section of foam pipe insulation to slide over the metal handle and that made the handle grip softer. It is little louder than my Toro Personal Pace 7 hp Briggs/Stratton but that mower cost over twice as much so it’s not a fair comparison. Those big rear wheels help make a smooth cut.The not-so-snug mulch cover, low oil drain plug and uncomfortable handle are minor complaints and all were easily corrected. Otherwise it’s a smooth running engine, starts first pull every time, cuts well and is easy to push around.I recommend this mower. My wife liked it so much she wanted me to buy a second one so we can both mow at the same time but I suggested we just keep the one Troybilt and take turns using it!

missing a part, had to drill out a hole to insert the bolt that was to go into it.

For a push mower, it’s very light weight and easy to push compared to my first push mower from 14 years ago.

Very good- like the height adjustment, easy to assemble. Have 1/4 acre it just mows right through, even on higher grass. Good basic mower, does the job.

I’m very pleased with this lawnmower. Can’t believe it feels so lite when cutting grass because the description stated it weighs 60 lbs. Only thing I would change is buying the Troy without the prime feature. But all-in-all I’m very satisfied with the one I purchased.

It does what it should, it cuts grass even, and I haven’t had any issue out of it.

The lawn mover was easy to assemble and started right up. Follow-up uses it does not start on first, second, third try but does come around. I previously owned a Troy-Bilt weed eater (lasted 10+ years) and expected the same quality with this mower but I find it is not and that’s why I gave the 3-star rating.
