Came with the oil to put in the engine and took about 15 minutes to get the handle unfolded and adjusted. It starts on one pull after filling up the tank with gas. I mulched the yard twice (1/3 of an acre) with a fair amount of leaves and it handled the mulching without bogging down. When I say a fair amount of leaves, it normally takes about 20 leaf bags to contain the amount that I normally pick up with the riding lawnmower and bagger. This mower mulched it all and it disappeared into the lawn. The mower is relatively quiet for a gas mower and is easy to push. I like the gas shutoff feature on the gas line so that the carburetor can be run dry by shutting the valve and letting the mower run out of gas. The deck height adjustment is easier than some that I’ve had but doesn’t have the sturdiest locking system. Looking forward to the spring mowing season

We still have snow on the ground so I’m not able to test it to find out if I like it or not!

Quiet, easy to push. Used 3 times and so far works well.Missing screws for bar handle when I received. I had to buy screws. No information on instructions for contacting manufacturer. Very poor instructions for the Troy-Bilt portion. The Honda engine instructions are OK.

The lawnmower exceeded my expectations

Awesome mower. Starts smoothly and on the first way pull. Easy to maneuver. If you want a powerful leaf munching mower you can easily maneuver, this is the mower for you.

I purchased it thinking it would be better gas mower than my old Murray with Tecumseh engine that broke a starting string. But turned out to be the TroyBilt TB160 is only just as good as my present old mower. Even the sound noise of the Honda engine is about the same. Now my old mower string is fixed I now have two mower.

The Mower was easy to set up and with the automatic choke feature it makes cranking the mower a breeze.

Powerful lawnmower it does phenomenal in my yard I have approximately 1200 sq ft backyard and another 1000 or so in the front with a 3 degree slope. Bought it at a great price and in my opinion top of the line.

Budget, got what I payed for, my last one, other brand, the frame rusted out, this is thiner yet.

The mower is what was expected. The few things that had to be done to get the machine ready, was easy and understandable. One thing that could be improved is the connections for the bag to the bag frame. They pop off way too easily.

Adequate for my needs. Minor selling point is cap on gas tank is much better than on Briggs & Stratton engines. B&G caps tend to loosen and get lost, whereas not the case for Honda engines. Cap is much more secure and will not inadvertently loosen.

Exactly what my husband wanted,he had one similar before, and he said that this one is liter, and the bag is smaller, but he likes it.

This replaced a 12 year Troy Bilt of the same type (except Briggs engine), which lasted well longer than it should have. This model is lighter, more powerful (even though the engine is smaller), and built with the same quality. Get the version with the Honda engine, it’s well worth the extra $50. Very (very) happy with this purchase.

This mower was already filled will oil and the tag that says (NO OIL IN ENGINE,PLEASE FILL FIRST) was found inside one of pages in the user manual days later .Box must have been retaped because there were other tags loose in the box now that i think about it.I think i just paid full price for a used and returned Toy Bilt lawn mower. Mower works fine,i just feel like i got robbed a little bit though.
