With SpaceSavr design, the TB170 XP push mower takes up less space in your garage or shed-up to 70% less space than a traditional push mower. Now you can store the mower under a tool bench or in an upright, vertical position against a wall or anywhere else convenient. Powered by a Troy-Bilt engine for plenty of power to mow grass, this engine features a 360° seal that prevents oil and fuel from leaking when stored in the vertical position. With rear bag, mulch kit and side discharge options included, you have a choice for disposing of grass clippings. Dual-lever height adjusters are conveniently located to quickly adjust the cutting height and the TriAction cutting system uses a rake guard, symmetrical deck and specialized blade to deliver a clean, even cut every time. The shipping was quick and on time! The mower was easy to put together and worked wonders! Our grass grows extremely fast so by the time we got the mower picked out and ordered our grass was embarrassing high. This mower shocked us as to how well it mowed it all down! Cuts well, and I appreciate it being very light, as I have to yank it up and down creek banks. Starts right up, no priming. I love that it stands upright, as I have very limited storage space. It takes up way less space than my previous mower. It has a cleanout to attach a hose too, but it doesn’t clean that well. I still have to scrape the deck bottom, but since it stands up so nicely, it’s not a problem, and doesn’t leak gas or oil (it has seals to prevent it).

Arrived quickly and assembly was simple. However I also had/have the same issue as another mentioned on here about the rear wheel adjustment lever rubs the rear tire and will eventually wear the tire uneven. I can live with it but Troy Built needs to relook the design.

Love the fold-up for garage storage but the clamp levers require excessive force to operate. Cuts well and the little engine has plenty of power even when set low in mulching mode. This mower works well as a side discharge and bagger but builds up clippings in mulching mode. Periodic tilting back is needed to clear out clippings for thick grass or low cutting. The mower rolls easily and is reasonably light and maneuverable but you will need self-propelled for a serious slope. Starts on the first pull. A great price for what you get.
