I have used this product for about a month now and happy with the purchase. It starts easily and runs well. It takes 40:1 gas oil mixture. This is a problem as my other tools take 50:1 mixture. Another thing is that it uses pre-cut pieces of string which means a lot of wasted string.

The Troy- Bilt 25cc- 2cycle curved shaft gas trimmer with fixed line trimmer head was easy to put together as i followed the instructions it started up so easy and trims with easy effort, the fixed line trimmer head is great and beats all of those trimmers that have the tap line and i don’t know why other trimmer makers don’t use this fixed line head as it is so much easier to change the line.

I selected this trimmer for two reasons: it is light weight, and I can use one piece of line to thread through until another piece is needed. I don’t have very much success when I have to wind the line around a spool. It always gets all tangled up. With this trimmer I do not have to worry about that. The trimmer is very easy to start and generally one piece of line is all I need to do the job unless I rev up the engine. I have had more success and the least amount of aggravation with this trimmer than with any I have ever owned.
