it makes my grandson’s job so much easier and faster. He is thrilled

Nice piece of equipment. Started right up. My only criticism is that it took awhile to cut through berry vines, and marsh grasses. So it’s a little under-powered (I guess)

Bought to clear ATV trails on 40 acres and it worked flawlessly. Blade cuts well and cuts through most ungrowrh with ease.

The Brushcutter worked as advertised. It was so easy to operate that my wife had no problems with it.

Very good machine to clear thick brush. I used preformulated fuel.

Starts easy and has a strong motor. It doesn’t come with 2 shafts to switch between brush cutter and string trimmer, but switching heads is easy. The included string might as well be cheese, even at .105 it got shredded fast. Re-strung using high quality line and it works great. I definitely like the wider cutting path and string width is good. Very pleased with what you get for the price.

Works very well and is comfortable to hold, love the shoulder strap that comes with it

It was easy to assemble. Initially hard to start. When started worked really well. We got a lot done in a short time. Haven’t tried the trimmer yet, just brush cutter.

I’ve preferred Troy-Bilt power tools, including several excellent lawn mowers, for decades. However, I’m a little disappointed in the overall quality of this brush cutter. Cutting down even the smallest saplings was not as easy as I’d hoped, and the blade seemed dull on my first use. Also, the cutting blade rarely stopped rotating completely in idle mode, and vibration within the entire unit is considerable. Meh…

This thing easily cut through the brush in my backyard that had grown up over the past year. It took out thick weeds and saplings in the fence row by the pasture with ease. I still haven’t used the string head on it, but the blade asembly came off easier than i thought when I was testing the ease of removal.

runs great, no problems, took care of some toughf weeds

No problems besides shipping. However, this had nothing to do with Home Depot or Troy-Built. FedEx actually delivered to the wrong address. Nice trimmer that’s expandable.

I ordered this from Home Depot because of a great price and I have most of the attachments. Dose not have the power of the 4 stroke and no jump start. This will be my 3rd Troy Bilt. Last one lasted 13 plus years and was a 4 stroke with jump start are well worth the extra money.

I thought it would have the ‘E-Z Start’ feature.
