I’ve used this blower for a full tank of gas and so far it’s great. The most outstanding feature is the spring assisted starter – it’s a game changer for me. It has all the power I need for clearing leaves, pine straw, grass, and my garage debris. The instructions and set up were quite simple. I appreciate the reminders (picture below) on the fuel and oil mix and starting instructions. I prefer the “bonus” curved tube for general use, it directs airflow better IMO. The on off button is more like a kill switch when running which is a pleasant upgrade. All in all I’m pleased with the value so far. I recommend anyone trying this project stick with high octane, ethanol free fuel. It makes a difference for two and four cycle engines!

Good blower. Starts easily. Blows hard. I thought the curved extension tube would be more helpful, but it seems to slow down the air (because it’s longer, curved and has a wider opening) vs. the regular tube, so I once again find myself bending over with the standard tube to get the maximum results. On that note, the standard tube is not quite as long as the Stihl model I replaced. I don’t know if they do that because a shorter tube yields a higher exit air speed, to save money or some other reason, but it just feels like it should be a foot longer. All that being said, I am happy with this blower and would recommend it.

This is one of the best leaf blowers I’ve had. It was easy to put together. It’s lightweight but unlike electric leaf blowers this one really gets the job done. I even use it on wet leaves and it works pretty well. For me it was easy to start and I have no issues but how it runs. I highly recommend this one

The first day I wouldn’t have reccomended. Mixed fresh gas with oil that came with it and primed the blower. I was greatly pleased when it started on the first pull. I began blowing off my driveway and it was doing wonderful, although it doesn’t seem to have quite as much power as my previous Craftsman blower. About 5 minutes or so later the blower started sputtering like it was running out of gas and a few seconds later died. I couldn’t get it to restart so I let it sit about 30-45 minutes whire I raked some. Went back and after 7 or 8 pulls while holding in trigger, it started again. I went back to blowing the driveway for a couple minutes when it sputtered and died again. I gave up trying to restart. I called Troybilt (or whatever corp. that owns it ) but couldn’t get much help. I drained the gas and decided I would take it to their closest service center which wasn’t too far from me. That next day I thought I would give it one more try. After putting the fuel mixture back in and priming, I was surprised when it started on the 3’rd pull. I ran it for more than 10 minutes, then went back the next day and ran it about 10 minutes, and then used it last week for about 15 minutes after I mowed. So far, so good for now. It has ran smoothly and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I get a few years out of it.

Came with pre-mix gas. So it was as easy as pour, pump, pull, and go. I mean it was seriously easy. I liked that it had footings that let the blower sit flat for starting. It ran hours on one tank. Good power. Got all the work done!
