In all of the years past I had to call my husband to crank the different blowers that we have owned. The Troybilt blower, model TB430 cranks right up for me on the first pull. I am a 72 year old female weighing approximately 128 lbs and have had extensive back surgeries. We purchased our first TB430 for our primary residence and almost immediately gave away the blower we had at our second home and purchased our second TB430. If you are asking yourself why I would want to blow anything please know that I get tremendous satisfaction from performing this chore. Our yard crew gets very upset with me!

I have used the blower thrice now. Starting the machine is not much of a problem. Does the job well. If you are a right handed person, there is a danger of sucking your garment in the machine unless you hold it almost 6″-9″ away from your body. Under the circumstances it puts strain on the right hand. Transferring the machine to the left hand, (or if you are left handed) solves the problem.
