I was able to go from box to mowing in 5 minutes. Starts on first pull. It has great traction even in thick St Augustine grass. Mower mulches very well.

Mower after 3 uses is a beast and I have no complaints. Having the ability to change between FWD, RWD, and 4WD is extremely helpful depending on terrain. The mower started on the first pull each time I’ve used it thus far. Mulching blows my old Toro out of the water as well.

Going to buy one don’t know how good it is but hope to be happy.

Have used the new lawn mower several times since it arrived and consider it a quality machine. I also liked your attention in the delivery process.

We have a very hilly, challenging site and took a while reviewing 4×4 mowers. This mower has surpassed my expectations and climbs easily over steep, rough terrain. The cut is excellent. Only have used about 2 hours total, but so far it is terrific.

Mower works okay but it was missing the mulch / bagger block off piece so it bogs down

A little bit harder on turns, but otherwise a good machine. Very easy start and height adjustment.

First ordered the 160cc Honda version of this mower due to single-point height adjustment feature. Wanted more power, but not available at the time. Then I saw that this mower with the 190cc Honda was available. I jumped on it without realizing that I was giving up single-point height adjustment. Pros: Powerful, easy start, mulches beautifully, nice quality cut, 4 WD is nice at times. Cons: NOT a single-point height adjustment system, a two point (front and rear axels) adjustment is required and is awkward and hard to determine which slot to be in to ensure the mower is level. The mower at max walking is speed is SLOW compared to the old Craftsman single point height adjustment variable speed mower we had before. The rolling resistance is strong if just pushing the mower, say on level ground (again, vs. the Craftsman). And lastly, my upper body feels like I’ve had more of a workout (in a bad way) when finished (again, vs. the Craftsman). Maybe due to it being heavier and/or to the 4WD. I’m keeping it, but actually wish that our old Craftsman model was still available (bty…it had a B&S 175cc engine). Have used this new mower 2 or 3 times so far.

Arrived yesterday. Simple assembly with clear instructions. Great power. Munching system worked great. It’s quick. I’m 6’3″ and have a long stride. Large rear wheel really makes turning much easier. I also really l like only having one lever in the front and back to adjust both sets of wheels. Superb cut. Easily mulched a 2″ cut. Probably shaved 30min off my mow time. So far so good!

Great mower and exceeded my expectations. This is my second Troybilt mower. The last one still runs perfectly after 15 yrs. Since I moved to a 1/2 acre and have a steep slope leading to the lake. I needed the bigger engine and 4wheel drive. The 4 wheel drive kicks and and this thing literally goes up the 30 degree slope by its self. All I have to do is hold on . Great product and did I mention it cuts great!

Love it. I have used it 3 times since taking delivery and each time gets easier. I am 74 years old with a heart condition so mowing my yard make a self-propelled mower essential. I have just over a 1/3 acre yard and what had been taking way to long with my old mower has become a much easier task. Is the 4-wheel option a necessity, no but it sure makes the job easier, specially in wet or sloped areas. I am a big fan of Honda motors and Troy-Bilt equipment, put the two together and I figured I was getting a winner. So far I am glad I made this choice.

Pick this mower up today and about 15 minutes after opening the box, I fired it up and mowed tall wet gas on a steep hillside. The Honda engine started with an easy slow pull and the large wheels in back made going uphill a breeze. Ok, I have to admit I have been mowing lawns for over 64 years and these new mowers are a far cry from the old ones. The mulcher worked great and if it got overloaded would spit out a wad and keep going. Never any stalling. Great job Troy!

I have only used it a few times but like it so far. I like the Honda engine, larger than my prior Honda mower. The large wheels in the back provide a smooth ride on uneven terrain. Mulches well. All wheel drive is nice. I also like the clean out port. It’s easy to wash the underside of the mower.
