The TBE304 30 cc 4-Cycle Troy-Bilt edger is cleaner, produces less noise, provides more torque, and requires no mixing of gas and oil. Spring Assist technology provides an easy start with just a smooth and steady pull, while Prime and Go Starting allows for fast, simple two-step starting. The heavy-duty 9 in. dual-tipped steel blade cuts a clean edge along driveways and sidewalks, edging with a 1.75 in. maximum depth. The fully molded ergonomic handle design with mounted throttle and idle controls allow for easy operation, while the v-style folding handle design saves storage space. This edger came tightly packaged and well protected from any damage that may happen in handling. The unit is a little on the heavy side BUT easy to handle and easy to store. The unit is very well crafted from heavy duty materials. Some assembly is required, but was as simple as sliding handles together and securing with a large plastic wing nut. I was surprised to see that the unit came with oil and fuel! The adjustable wheel base allows the user to decide how deep they want to cut and there is a guide line so you know where the blade will be landing. I am truly impressed with the results of this edger, my yard has never looked cleaner! No more overgrowth making the sidewalk look messy 🙂 My only complaint is that I didn’t obtain this sooner!

Attention Ladies, this is the perfect tool for edging up your lawn to give it that manicure look. It was so easy to put together no tools needed, put a little gas and oil in and began mowing. I did not have to worry about making a straight line the edger did everything for me, I just pushed it straight no bending and it came out perfect.

We have a weedeater with an edging attachment as well. Compared to edging with a weedeater, this product is much better!PROS- Easy to assemble- Came with gas- Easy to follow instructions to start; started right up based on those instructions- Easier to stay straight on a line than when using a weedeater to edge- Blade does a great job of cutting down to the dirt- Does not take up a lot of storage space- Not very heavy and it’s on wheels, which helps with muscle fatigueCONS- You need to know where the edge of your sidewalk is – if it’s really overgrown, it might take you a couple times to not ding the side of the concrete- If you’ve never edged before, expect to have to do it a couple of times before you get the edge you want- A blower or rake are a great thing to use between passes in getting the edge established- Your grass needs to be completely dry to get a clean edgeThe four-star review is because it took several passes to get the edge established

Easy to ensemble as soon as you take out the box . The length of the handle makes it easy to use as well keeps it very sturdy for a direct clean cut . Gave a great cut and space between my walkway to the grass . We are very satisfied with this product and will definitely be buying more along this line ..

It’s only been a few weeks, but this edger does the trick. I only have three areas to edge and normally only every other week. Don’t have to bend over or lift it like other edgers. Just set the blade depth & push it like a lawn mower.

This Troy built 4 cycle 30cc edger has great features. It’s a prime and go starting system, simple two-step. Heavy duty 9″ wheeled dual-tipped edger and trenching blade. A 5 position height adjustment, which works great! The trenching did okay. It has 3 wheels for added stability and control which did well. My overall impression of this edger is good. The one thing I found to not be effective was, aerodynamics of corner edging was a little more work and trenching was a little hard to make. *Important to remember * NEVER MIX GAS AND OIL! My overall experience with this product was good but maybe a few upgrades would make a difference especially with the aerodynamics. But very nice features. I’ll continue to work with that to see if I can find a better way to cut corners.

It comes with everything that you will need to assemble the edger. It is very lightweight and easy to operate. It comes with the engine oil that is needed so you can use it right away. It is easy to start the edger with just a pull on the starting rope. It cuts very precisely and edges our sidewalks and driveway perfectly. I can just set the blade depth and then push the edger. The 4-cycle engine has a lot of power and is easy to maintain. It is easy to adjust the height of the blade so you can cut perfect clean edges along the driveway and sidewalks. The third wheel keeps the edger in balance so you can cut in a straight line. The edger is easy to store in our garage because of its size and the folding handle. This is a quality product and I highly recommend it.

This wonderful 4 cycle edger definitely gets its work done. It is of great quality and easy to move around. It is just the perfect size. This is a very basic edger for a single family yard. It is by no means professional grade but easily does the job for our weekly landscaping needs. Good power and easy to adjust the height so you get the blade just where you want it. This takes the back breaking wok out of edging our front and back yard.
