Dual zippers with leather pulls complement this look, intended to appear as bookmarks. A microfiber interior protects your laptop while it’s in the case, and the always-on design incorporates a suspension system that allows you to use your MacBook without removing the BookBook. A document compartment is also present, providing a dedicated space for a few important papers. This case is designed for use with 13″ MacBook Pro and MacBook Air USB Type-C models, including the M1.

I use 12 South book books on my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook Pro. They protect the devices, and add an added level of security because they look like a book. I have been waiting for the 12 South version for the new MacBook Pro 16″ case, but in the interim, while snug, this case works just fine.

I bought this for my new Apple MacBook Pro 16.2 M1 Series 2021 Laptop. The computer is slightly thicker than my Apple MacBook Pro 15.4 Mid 2014 laptop. My Mid 2014 fits perfectly but the new 16 M1 2021 will fit but the tension on the zipper is more than what I am comfortable with. I will use it with my 15 when I want to go in style or incognito. I do think it is a piece of art in a way. I really hate for it to get scuffed up using it but I do take care of my stuff. I’ve used another brand of harder case for my 15 and had to get the same brand for my 16 not knowing when I ordered this that one was available. I will NOT be returning this because it is just too nice and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Again: You 16 will fit but it is a very tight squeeze that I feel might make the zipper give out prematurely for some people that do not take excessive care of their property. Otherwise its feel and look are unique and exclusive. Great way to hide your goods in a bookcase if needed.

This is a nice little case that draws people’s attention. It includes a place for several cards, which is convenient. The only downside is that there is no protective cover for the front of the iPhone, making it a bit vulnerable.
