Very noisy fans. I was sitting near the switch at my desk and it was actually blowing my hair around. I feel the sound is an issue as well as wasting electricity. Other than that, I like the switch so far.

Works as expected, Ubiquiti products have been extremely reliable for me since I discovered them about a year ago. The EdgeSwitch 48 is no exception, it’s easy to setup and configure to your needs. The fans are far from silent, so beware of that if you don’t have a dedicated space for it.

There’s a learning curve involved, but it’s not too much.
