I used this product to connect a main building to a remote building with up cameras. No issues on the setup, and no issues with stream two 4MP IP cameras from the remote location. The two buildings are about 200 feet apart, so these are over kill, but made it easy to connect the buildings.

The network port went bad. Contacted the customer service and they suggested to get a new POE. Got that and no luck. They said get a new cable. Got that and it did not work. The customer service was like sorry cannot do anything about it. I mentioned that its just 3 months out of warranty but no help. I got this based on the high reviews. Now I have spent extra money and time and Ubiquity profited by selling me another POE. Its not worth it

This was a replacement for our original that went bad after 5 years

It’s not performing well, I’ve surveyed and tried manually selecting channels to avoid noise from my neighbors… but this directional AP is just weaker than my $20 Korean router/AP that I was aiming to replace and only use as a router.

I recently installed two of these devices to get our internet/network from our main church building to the house next door where our pastor lives. It is only about 80 feet perfect line of sight. These devices have been performing flawlessly for a little over 2 weeks now. There has never been a signal drop! The other end in the pastor’s house has a Ubiquiti UAP-AC-Pro and an 8 port Ubiquiti switch both adopted and monitored on our main network in the church building next door via a UDM Pro. The only con, if it even is one, is that these are not gigabit units. You will be limited to 10/100 internet/network connectivity. That being said, I would still HIGHLY recommend these units!

I’ve been using these radios to transmit my wireless network to my shop to operate 3 IP cameras for about 10 years. One finally went bad so I replaced it. I had saved my configuration to a file so when I got the new one I hooked it up to my laptop in the house, uoaded the saved configuration, and installed it in place of the old one. Worked just fine reporting 144 Mbps receiving and transmitting.

We had these units purchased to do a point to multi point connection and they worked as expected !
