When purchasing the Ubiquiti devices, I simply wanted a (very basic) wall mount – Guess what – the unit(s) don’t come with them – only a simple ‘pipe mount’ – not to mention that their mounts do not allow for any type of cable pass thru… I was hoping that this mount would solve some problems – it didn’t…. The mount itself is basically OK, but it didn’t meet my expectations – and is somewhat large…. I ended up using a two gang outdoor electrical box, with a solid cover – attached the box to the wall (providing not only the physical mounting but cable access as well) – then installed the (originally provided) ‘pipe mount’ to the plate…. a very clean install…. You’d think that someone at Ubiquiti would have figured this out by now….
