Designed for easy deployment, the UAP-AC-IW-US UniFi Access Point Enterprise Wi-Fi System from Ubiquiti Networks is a scalable enterprise access point solution providing enhanced coverage and improved network performance. It supports the 802.11ac Wi-Fi standard with speeds of up to 867 Mb/s in the 5 GHz radio band, and up to 300 Mb/s in the 2.4 GHz radio band. The Wi-Fi system offers simultaneous dual band operation with 2 x 2 MIMO technology for each band. It has a range of up to 328′ and three Gigabit Ethernet ports. This UniFi Access Point (AP) has a sleek design and can be easily mounted to a wall, using the gang electrical wall box (sold separately).
The Wi-Fi system includes UniFi Controller software that can be installed on a PC, Mac, or Linux machine within the network, and is easily accessible through a standard Web browser. Using the UniFi Controller software, an Enterprise Wi-Fi network can be quickly configured and administered, without any special training. Real-time status, automatic UAP device detection, map loading, and advanced security options are all seamlessly integrated in the system.

Great little AP. Strengthens WiFi and gives you more ports. You need a PoE switch to power it but it’s worth it. I wish I had the money to put ones of these in every room. Perfect if you are running cables and only have enough to run one to each room. Unless you need a lot of speed for each port these will do the trick.

I am using this wireless access point connected to a pre-existing 1-gang wall box with a 1 Gb line to a PoE port. The wireless access works very well for both 2g and 5g speeds. The WPA2 security works very well for all of the wireless devices in range. I’ve measured wireless speeds over 600 Mb/sec on 5g. Setup was easy using the UniFi app.

These look much nicer than the traditional APs, but the antenna strength is much more limited. Would buy again for limited applications but will mostly stick with the long range AP.

Works as advertised. Plug into a wall Cat5/6 outlet and adopt into your network. Took just a few minutes to get up and running. Great option for a room that is not getting good coverage from the other APs as long as you have existing Cat5/6 available in that room.

Provides great coverage and running the required Unifi controller on a PC, cloud or cloud key gives loads of info about the device, clients, etc. Even better, dealing with B&H is soo enjoyable!
