The UAP-AC-LITE-5 UniFi Access Point Enterprise Wi-Fi System from Ubiquiti Networks is a scalable enterprise access point solution designed to be easily deployed and managed. It supports the 802.11ac Wi-Fi standard with speeds of up to 867 Mb/s in the 5 GHz radio band, and up to 300 Mb/s in the 2.4 GHz radio band. The Wi-Fi system offers simultaneous dual band operation with 2 x 2 MIMO technology for each band. It has a range of up to 400′ and two Gigabit Ethernet ports. This UniFi Access Point (AP) has a sleek design and can be easily mounted to a ceiling tile or wall, using the included mounting hardware.
The Wi-Fi system includes UniFi Controller software that can be installed on a PC, Mac, or Linux machine within the network, and is easily accessible through a standard Web browser. Using the UniFi Controller software, an Enterprise Wi-Fi network can be quickly configured and administered, without any special training. Real-time status, automatic UAP device detection, map loading, and advanced security options are all seamlessly integrated in the system.

Great smaller alternative to PRO series, but with same amount of distance and quality wireless.

Added to existing Unif home installation, USG+CloudKey+UAP+ACPro+ UAP-ACLite. Works as expected, this AP went into a metal outbuilding connected by Cat5e to my house, gives me the ability to walk between house and into the outbuilding and no dropped WiFi signal. Love it

Purchased this, along with an Edgerouter SFP to replace an aging Netgear router/wireless AP in my apartment. This AP is definitely overkill as far as range is concerned. It provides a stable/quick connection at a great price. I wasn’t able to mount this thing on my ceiling right away; I just let it sit on the floor for a few days and you can tell the massive difference in connection quality. Mount this thing on your ceiling if you get it. I guess my only gripe would be the UniFi software. I would really prefer to be able to just log into the AP itself rather than running a controller installed on a PC. It is designed to be an enterprise solution so if this AP is the only UniFi piece of equipment in your network, the UniFi software is going to look very empty or incomplete (photo attached). I knew how the software was going to work prior to my purchase; it’s definitely not enough to take a star away. This is probably one of the best wireless APs on the market for the price whether you place 20 of them in an office building, or 1 of them in your living room.

I have Gigabit, 1000 Mbps fiber service. This access point (AP) is connected to a ER-X EdgeRouter X that’s connected to my service. You will have to do your research before configuring these AP’s and routers because they are not one click windows routers and AP’s

Because of the layout of our building there is a lot of interference with the Wifi waves. We had an option of buying several routers and switches along with the Cat-6 cables involved – or trying this unit. We opted to try this and we are quite pleased. It boosts our signal into places that were otherwise dead spots.

Using these devices at several locations including my home. By far the best AP for the $$. Can use the controller or the easy app for install. Reliable connections and easy to use configuration. Ubnt devices are rock solid.

Plug it in and it works! It is that simple if you have a Ubiquiti switch. Range is fairly good even through a couple of walls but the limit seems to be 3 sheetrock walls and 30 feet laterally. Located one on first floor ceiling and cant hit it 20 feet away on next floor. I have 5 of these and they network well together to cover 6000 sq ft on 2.5 floors.

Nice simple unit whith a clean looking installation and allows roaming between points, PoE is a plus allowing mounting in areas that don’t have available power. The manager is great (and can be embedded on several devices and computers) . This gets you good insight into use and traffic from each insatalled AP , as well as control of clients. Also a Guest Wifi interface and network can be configured

Once again I needed to add a wireless access point to my network and B&H came through like no other. Not only the best price, but I had the nee device in my hands within two days. Awesome Service. Thank you B&H Team…

Two band access point with great manageability. Would be a five star if they used standard POE, but does come with an injector power supply

Small form factor and low cost makes using this updated unify access point a great choice if you are already using a POE network. No Wi-Fi 6 though

I’ve been using Unifi UAPs for almost 7 years now. Of the dozens installed, I’ve only had issues with one which I was able to resolve on my own. Unifi Controller V5 is fantastic with more power than most small to mid-sized business will ever need. Easy to install, just make sure you have a server where you can install the controller software (it is possible to run the software for updating only if you don’t want Guest Network options or data tracking). The UAP-AC-LITE is a nice size reduction from its predecessor and speeds have increased drastically. Note the 5 pack does not include the proprietary Ubiquiti POE injectors.

I added the UAP AC Lite to my new Unifi build. The access point was easy to adopt to the network and connect clients.

never had any issues. We do reboot them every 4-6 months

Both APs I received are version two with proper PoE support. They work great, provide great range, lots of features.

Absolutely love these access points; setup is a breeze and the GUI is super slick.

I got fed up with my other wireless routers and decided to give this enterprise grade access point a try. It was well worth it. Initially I had the concern that I had to mount it on the ceiling, but it also worked fine and looked good enough on top of a desk. The performance is very good, and it covers my entire house easily. The only downside is that I had to install their software to configure the access point. The installation didnt go well on Linux, so I had to use a Windows machine. The software is not very easy to navigate, but anyone with enough technical knowledge should be able to figure it out. Important note – this is a wireless access point, you have to have a router in order to use it at home or in your office. Otherwise you wont be able to use it.

I’m glad I got 2 of these to take care of the weak spots in my house. They work so much better than the Range Extenders I had before. Consistent connection and faster speed than before. I decided to try the network afterwards and will play with it for now.

Once configured, great product. But I had to do a very manual firmware update, and it took much longer than it should have. It wouldn’t import into the controller until the firmware was upgraded, and I expect the procedure would have been beyond many users.
