This is the fourth Ubiquiti access point in our house. I love these. A huge step up from my old ASUS wifi and older Belkin wifi solutions that the ASUS replaced. No more complaints about slow wifi in our house. My only regret was I bought three before this one was out so I’m hard pressed to stop using them and buy more of this one.

I have used these access points in both commercial and residential installations. They work very well in providing 2.4GHz coverage to a fairly broad area and 5GHz coverage for a room or two. They continually provide consistent service without reboots, congestion issues, or interference. The ability to use 5GHz DFS frequencies enables interference free 5GHz network coverage in MDUs or where tenants are in close proximity to each other. Roaming across access points is seamless and unnoticed by end users. The ability to broadcast multiple SSIDs and segregate traffic into separate VLANs is a welcome feature not found in consumer wifi gear. The UniFi controller is really the best part of deploying Ubiquiti. It allows you to manage many network devices using a single interface and to collect data about the utilization and performance of the network. Highly recommended.

Overall performance these have a great dual frequency penetrating distance. However they will not link wireless without first being hardwired and configured.

Setup was really easy using my existing wifi router, and this single access point is covering the top two floors of my house (3,200 sqft). Very impressive product!

I’ve bought many Ubiquiti access points for their consistency and ease of provisioning. After the initial setup of the controller software (or cloud option), you can add additional AP and provision them in under 2 minutes. Quick, simple and effective. We now have consistent coverage throughout our office and we’ll be soon upgrading our warehouses as well.

I had lots of problems trying to get good wifi signal at home with my Xfinity default WiFi router, so I tried the UAP-AC Lite UniFi to see if this problem persists. It took me a little bit more than I expected to set it up, but once it done, I get a super high internet speed all around my apartment. I get from 16 Mbps to 88 Mbps download and from 8 to 12 Mbps upload transfer rates. I love this product and I highly recommend it!!!

After having really bad signal in my home i decided to install this Ubiquiti UAP-AC-LITE. I had already installed these before for clients and always received great feedback. I was expecting a big difference from my previous router and i am so happy i bought this instead of replacing my main router. I would recommend this product to any home or office looking to upgrade.

I had heard about Ubiquiti access points for a while now and decided to start with the Lite version. It is easy to manage and has great range for the cost. Will definitely be purchasing more in the future.

I get full WiFi bars in my basement now. However, this device was difficult to set up. For whatever reason it was not a simple plug and play situation. I had to use the Ubiquiti Networks online chat and downloaded a program I needed to talk to the Access Point through my wireless network. Ubiquiti Networks Chat Customer service was very good and very patient (and available late). I wouldnt recommend this for someone that isnt comfortable using a cmd line window.

The multi-pack is a GREAT option and affordable…only one caveat – these did not come with the POE adapter, which we learned when the box arrived. Fortunately we were able to order and overnight the needed adapters for the customer install. If the description says NO POE, then customers would know to purchase the POE in addition to the multi-pack, or have a multi-pack with the POEs included.

I have 3 UniFi Access Points and 1 UniFi POE 16 port switch. Everything works great and is easy to setup. I switched to UniFi because I was tired of buying a new WiFi gateway every 2-3 years and still not having the coverage I needed.

Ubiquiti Unifi Controller software is required to setup the devices. I found the Controller software did not work for me on my Mac Pro Desktop. I spent probably 16 hours trying to get it to work. Trying numerous things suggested by the online bulletin boards. The problem I had was shared by many. Though I could detect that the devices were on my network (using Wi-Fi Sweep and Net Analyzer on my iPhone and iPad), the Controller software on my Mac Pro would not recognize them. I could even SSH to them from the Mac Pro so I know there was a hardwire connection between them. All virus software was off during the attempted setup. I was about to give up when I thought about looking to see if they had an app for the iPad. They do and I was able to setup the APs and now they are working very well. Better speed and coverage than my combo wifi router could do. The iPad Controller software is not as robust as that for the computer version but for my home installation, I suppose I don’t really need all the bells and whistles. I would only recommend this product for someone that is not a novice at hardware and software setups.

I was looking for a solution for our church. More and more attendees were bringing devices to church and our home-grade access points maxed out at 20 users. These access points claim they can handle 250+ devices at a time. We are not there yet. Last I looked we had about 35 devices connected to a single access point. Seems to work well. I installed 5 of these in different areas of the church and used the management software to help devices switch to the strongest signal.

Great access point for a very friendly price. Weak point is the need to install the control software to be able to configure it.

I got this to replace all of our wireless needs. I disabled wireless on our router and use this AP as our only source of wifi. The software is so amazing. We get better range and speeds in our home. Going to get the Ubiquiti USG and switch later.

I have two of these and they are super. Easy to setup even for a novice.

From reviews I had read I was expecting an installation that required the skills of a network administrator, but it turned out to be trivial to set up. Very solid product that I would recommend to anyone.
