The UAP-AC-LR-US 802.11ac Long Range Access Point from Ubiquiti Networks is ideal for long‑range deployments. This access point offers simultaneous, dual band operation with 3 x 3 MIMO in the 2.4 GHz band and 2 x 2 MIMO in the 5 GHz band. The innovative antenna design provides a long range, symmetrical link coverage area. The antenna gain of this access point performs better than what one way, high transmit power does for connecting distant clients.

Full speed , Great range, Nice WiFi management features.

We are comcast customers and we have one room that we could not get comcast wifi reception (even with Comcast wifi pods.) Luckily I had previously wired the room with CAT5e access to a PoE switch that was connected by CAT6 cable to the Comcast modem/router. Adding the Ubiquiti AP was simple and it provides excellent wifi service in the formally wifi-isolated room. The SID for the room is different from the SID broadcast by the Comcast modem/router but this slight inconvenience is worth enduring to get a strong signal.

great product! really recommend

Solid piece of equipment. Reports of legendary broadcast strength are a little over blown. Seems on par with TP-Link Archer C-9 router (which is an excellent hone router). Only real complaint is that the configuration/management software, which is web-based, doesn’t work on my Win10 machine. Had to use the iPhone app to set it up, but that won’t w do a couple things I want to do — like reconfigure the IP address.

Ez install does great job

I started using the Ubiquiti products this year and glad I made the switch. This access point has some power and speed. I placed this in a friends house and it covers the whole house where before I was using other 2 access points. I have yet to bring this access point to a crawl, it just keeps going. Being an IT person this was easy to setup once I learned the UniFi controller software which didn’t take long.

Just works, Great integration with Ubi POE Network Switch. Adding additional Access Points just plug and play, better than smaller Peplink setup that crashed under the traffic.

1st – Great price 2nd – Quick FREE Delivery ( no tax ) 3rd – Setup the UAP-AC–LR with the iPhone app. 4th – found the best location in the house for best coverage Ceiling Mount 5th – streaming Netflix (via my Roku3)last episode of house of cards and a glass of vino. 1.5 weeks without a burp. My only remarks cautions are that it should have came with a paperclip type of tool to remove the AP from its ceiling mount. ( used a thin paper clip to remove) ****Read the instructions on the Web site on how to upgrade the firmware before you install.* ** Be aware that it does not set up via a web page – You have to use the IPhone App or download the free controller software from Unifi.. // If you intend to purchase and set up 2 or more AP’s at the same site, Download and install the free controller software first so more comprehensive control and flexibility can be yours //

Easy to setup and awesome range. Eliminated all my dead zones by installing in the middle of my house. Much better range than routers at twice the cost of this AP. Recommend to everyone.

Works as intended, amazing coverage over our small retail business that wasnt getting enough signal throughout the store from our regular wireless router

Excelent service

This AP works great and the unifi software is great to use.

Is really helping in our home for both my husband in one part of the house and me in another. It’s installed in a hallway in the ceiling and it’s a wonderful night light too.
Maida Padberg (verified owner) –
This thing is no joke. I live on the fourth floor in an apartment and I still get signal on the ground. The set up on the controller is good. Even easier with the app. It’s not for those that aren’t willing to put in some work, but it’s well worth the work.

Bought 2 of these on the recommendation of a friend. They work great for consistant coverage in a larger home.

I seriously didn’t know that Wi-Fi could be this good. Rock solid, and once set up you can uninstall the config software. What’s not to like?

I am familiar with Unifi wireless using it at several different locations. That AC LR was used in a small business which had a Comcast Provided 2.4g AP as an independent device on the business network. The owner mentioned that he did not think his Wifi was working that swell and mentioned having to repower it on occasion. As part of a Unifi Surveillance install I replaced his Comcast AP. After a month owner says his Wifi issues are solved.

BEWARE The kit does not come with power supplies.

Service was really good. These are really nice looking in public space. They have a little bit of a learning curve to get them installed. But once we figured it out, went smoothly. These were easy setup and have been flawless in operation.

It covers the whole house no problem.
