Small and weatherproof, the UniFi FlexHD Access Point from Ubiquiti Networks is a Wave 2 access point with 4×4 MU-MIMO technology. Utilizing Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) technology, the FlexHD can use 5 GHz (for up to 1.7733 Gb/s) and 2.4 GHz (300 Mb/s) frequency bands indoors and outdoors thanks to its weatherproof design. The FlexHD can be mounted in a variety of ways, such as on a tabletop, wall, or a pole. The FlexHD also works with the UniFi Network Controller, allowing for scalability. This means it can be used to build wireless networks as big or as small as needed, all in a unified management system.

All products working as intended and shrink wrapped like they were bought from the ui store. A little more expensive but good luck getting them from ui store directly atm…

Great performance and so many mounting options.

I use these where I’m looking for “same floor” coverage from an interior wall or tabletop location. Note that these are Wi-Fi 5 Wave 2 devices, not Wi-Fi 6

Not too pleased so far. Still trying to figure it out and find someone who can give me some answers regarding its capabilities. Our router allows us to have guest WiFi. We need the access point to allow us to extend the WiFi out to our event venue through a switch but the access point doesn’t seem to then let us access the guest WiFi.

I purchased this unit to extend coverage both within and outside the house. Coverage is excellent; with the unit located inside the house (but near a slider) I get 10 to 12MB download speeds several hundred feet from the house. Config was handled through the Dream Machine so that was easy.

Using this in conjunction with other UniFi APs to help improve my overall Wi-Fi coverage. This unit is rated for outdoor use so placed it on my deck to help with coverage there and backyard area. Can stream out on the deck and when working in the backyard without buffering issues or dropping calls (we have poor cell coverage at the house) when using Wi-Fi calling on my cell phone.

I needed one final AP to complete the ‘fleet’. Since this one resides in a patio room, I needed an outdoor tolerant device. After waiting two months (I know, the global supply chain is broken…) this device nicely complemented my collection of nanoHD APs. No issues adding it the Ubiquiti management tool. A solid and cost effective device.
