The fully manageable US-8-60W UniFi 8-Port Gigabit PoE Compliant Managed Switch from Ubiquiti Networks features 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports in a small form factor offering improved performance and intelligent switching capabilities for expanding networks. In addition to the 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports, this switch offers 8 Gbps non-blocking throughput, a 16 Gbps switching capacity, and a 11.9 mpps forwarding rate. It also delivers up to 15.4W of power per PoE port.
Once installed, this UniFi switch can be managed using Ubiquiti’s own UniFi Controller software giving network administrators the ability to manage multiple sites from a single interface. Network admins have full access to various Ubiquiti devices within the network with the ability to change operating modes, monitor the status of each device, manage spanning tree configuration, and much more.

I am using this UniFi 8-port switch as a secondary remote switch to my UniFi 16-port network switch. No issues whatsoever.

I got this to replace the last non-Ubiquiti hardware in my network. As expected, it integrates perfectly with my existing Unifi managed hardware through the controller. Wish this was available 6 months ago and I would have gotten this instead of the more expensive 8-150W switch!

This POE switch works great for my home UniFi WiFi setup. The 4 POE ports are great to run the access points and the remaining ports work well for running the Ethernet ports throughout my house. Would definitely recommend this product.

Mounted the switch and powered it up. Synced with Cloud key with no issues. Configuration software was easy to navigate and we love the ability to see everything from the app or computer interface. Great to stay in the Ubiquity Family for easy management. Used this switch for a small office with only one network drop. Added additional points of access for that office.

Another great switch from Ubiquiti

Great little switch with POE capabilities on the last four ports only. Easily managed through a UDM Pro/Ubiquiti Controller. It has been performing flawlessly for a couple of weeks now.

Works as it should and no issues.

This switch is the last link of a daisy chained network. This gives us connections for our networked cameras for streaming our Church services and a few security cameras. Only 1 POE is used, and the switch stays warm but not hot. Very happy!!

This helped in my upgrade with purchasing alongside a USG, UAP-AC-PRO-E and Cloud Key as it gave me the needed PoE to power the AP and Cloud Key. As well it gave me a switch to base my network off of with the needed ports to host all my devices with room for future upgrades.

You can upgrade the firmware and see who/what is attached.

Four ports are POE and power cameras, WAPs and even the Cloud Key Gen 2. Price can’t be beat. Integrates fully into the Ubiquiti managed network.

Ubiquiti integration is so convenient. This stuff simply works well.

Used this with the cloud key and Ac Pro. Worked great

good switch for home use especially if running multiple unifi devices because all devices can be controlled from one controller. Poe is only 48v so if someone is running old unifi AP witch ware 24v this will not power it, and only 4 ports are Poe. For enterprise use this switch locks lots of advance features but for home use this switch is great easy to setup ports can be renamed so its easy to know what is on what port and it is manage from controller.

It’s just a simple network switch, I’m sure it’s as good as anything else out there but if you are running a full ubiquity network it communicates with the host computer and the security gateway seamlessly.

Not super savvy on networking. This product was a dream to implement into our network.

I changed over my home network from a Linksys wrt3200 ACM router and have everything running thru my Ubiquiti network. I truly enjoy all the statistical data that’s provided to monitor your network. I feel everything was easy to setup and configure. I have also experience a speed upgrade on my network.

I bought this for a family member, they didn’t need to manage it (for now). It worked out of the box with no issues. I will log into the GUI at some point to see how easy it is to manage.

This has been an excellent switch, and easily managed via the UniFi controller. The auto-sensing 802.3af ports (4 of them) are currently powering two access points and one Ubiquiti USW flex mini switch (USW-Flex-Mini), which is an awesome little 5 port switch in its own right. I’m able to set up separate port VLANS and other fun stuff on it. It’s also a well built metal switch. It does get fairly hot, but not excessively, so you won’t want to put it in a small, confined space without some air movement.
