The fully manageable US-8-60W UniFi 8-Port Gigabit PoE Compliant Managed Switch from Ubiquiti Networks features 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports in a small form factor offering improved performance and intelligent switching capabilities for expanding networks. In addition to the 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports, this switch offers 8 Gbps non-blocking throughput, a 16 Gbps switching capacity, and a 11.9 mpps forwarding rate. It also delivers up to 15.4W of power per PoE port.
Once installed, this UniFi switch can be managed using Ubiquiti’s own UniFi Controller software giving network administrators the ability to manage multiple sites from a single interface. Network admins have full access to various Ubiquiti devices within the network with the ability to change operating modes, monitor the status of each device, manage spanning tree configuration, and much more.

Anything that saves time and eliminates some maintenance and guesswork is a good thing and all Ubiquiti hardware does that.

Easy to set up and manage with Unifi software. POE came on automatically where required. I have installed many Unifi products and they are by far the best for the price.

Using this in my garage to power a few Unifi cameras. Works as expected. Simple to adopt.

Hooked into my UDM Pro with no issues. Found immediately and easy to provision through the dashboard. PoE worked as advertised and has the option to disable PoE for individual ports.

It is very nice to have a single point for POE instead of separate injectors. It does runs warm, but not hot. Hoping to put two of these back to back in a media cabinet with a 1/2″ space in between. Haven’t had a chance to put an IR gun on it to see temp when powering 4 separate devices.

The device integrates into the management software and the combination tells me what is connected and working, or not. Easily deployed. Love it, and the accompanying management software.

The switch just works, used to power a POE AP in another area of home.

My Wifi signal was getting dropped occassionally so I upgraded to the Ubiquiti system with the UniFi nanoHD access point, the Ubiquiti Networks Cloud Key, the Ubiquiti Networks US-8-60W Switch and the Ubiquiti Networks UniFi Enterprise Security Gateway. WiFi signal was greatly approved and now get a signal on the patio downstairs that didn’t have Internet access.

This is truly a great bargain – a managed switch with 4 POE ports. It is managed by the same software that I use with my Wifi Access Points. You can watch what it is doing, and diagnose issues.

I purchased the following to replace 2 consumer grade routers. I have a Linksys WRT54G that is probably 10 years old. It was running the dd-wrt software. It’s been great, but I figured it was time to upgrade. I purchased a Linksys Max-Stream AC2200 first. It wasn’t good. It needed frequent power bounces and on one occasion it completely lost the configuration. It’s wireless interface was failing all the time. Very sad for $200. I returned it and reinstalled the 54G. I stumbled upon Ubiquiti and glad I did. Setup wasn’t difficult, but I’m an IT guy. After a couple of hours, everything is working fine. I expect that to continue. I’ll let you know if otherwise. I purchased a console cable from Amazon. (USB Console Cable USB to RJ45 Cable, labeled Moyina) I didn’t need it because everything was done via direct connection (router) or the controller software (WAP and Switch). -US-8-60W UniFi 8-Port Gigabit PoE Managed Switch -UAP-AC-LR-US 802.11ac -ERLite-3 EdgeMax EdgeRouter Lite 3-Port Router

Connected with a Unifi USG and controller software, great flexibility for SOHO applications.

It arrived when it said it would and setup was super-fast. It works just like it’s supposed to. This was the first time I bought something from B&H and I didn’t know what to expect but Amazon was selling this for almost $50 more so I thought I’d give this place a try. I was not disappointed! They got it to me when they said and they packaged it securely. Thanks guy, great job!

These UniFi products are some of the easiest networking products to set up with professional architecture and real security features. Software defined networking is the easiest set up I have ever encountered and their community online is fantastic to learn about their systems and find the individual solutions you need. I would highly recommend the US-8-60w, it is a small form factor with all the power needed to run and entire small network set up complete with 4 integrated power ports for any Poe af products. With easy ability to connect additional switches this is truly scalable to fit anyone’s needs

Great reliable switch. Only 4 of the eight ports are POE Always check the power consumption of your equipment before just connecting. We use this to power a PTZ Controller and 2 PTZ cameras and then use the non powered ports to connect our ATEM and laptops.

Easy integrated management with UniFi: If you’re already running another UniFi device and have a pre-existing instance of the UniFi Controller, adopting this switch and making the necessary adjustments to its configuration are very intuitive and a breeze. Provisioning VLANs and assigning per-port configurations are far more complex in other vendor’s UIs and solutions. At a glance, you can quickly discern connected MAC address, link speed, and whether or not PoE is in use. Configuration changes apply quickly with no disruption. Updating firmware revisions is also incredibly simple. No additional steps with other protocols/solutions are required as long as you have a running UniFi controller.

I could not be happier with this switch. The Ubiquiti Unifi line works great and this switch is another example of that. More than enough POE for our APs and cameras. Setup is easy and quick.

From the moment I plugged this device in to my Unifi network, it generated disconnected/connected error messages related to something identified as AsustekC. Sent it to Unifi on an RMA and when it returned weeks later, the same problem existed. They had not updated/changed/modified/replaced anything. Searching their community support site, plenty of questions/issues related to this switch but no consistent answers. After far too many hours of my time (and apparently zero from Unifi) trying to fix, it needs to be returned.

I install quite a few of these switches in the past year and haven’t had a single failure. This 8 Port switch comes with 4 port POE af auto-sensing and it can be turned off if needed.

I recently installed this switch for a client and it has performed remarkably well. The POE capacity is more than enough to run the in-wall access points that we’re using, with power to spare for their pass-through POE capability. Another UBNT win!

Using this switch to extend network connections in an old building with limited network wiring. I’m powering a Cisco 1600 series access point from this switch with no problems.
