These ordinary slip joint pliers in large sizes are becoming very hard to find, so I was delighted to find these. They appear to be heavy and well-made. They are useful for everything from pulling stuck nails from wood to removing stripped screws to opening stubborn bottle caps (as shown – using the “slip” setting) to a host of other everyday purposes.

I still use pliers to remove spring clamps from automotive water hoses and these long handled pliers open up enough and the long handles make it easier to compress the clamp ears.
