I always considered these discs the gold standard. BUT the last batch had several discs that would not record photos properly…file errors on read. Needed to reduce the write time to 1x and always verify the disc post record with my Roxio software. Disappointing.

These DVD’s are considered class 1. A good deal using my PayBoo card which refunds my tax instantly. Will be ordering more in the future.

I prefer when B&H has the (what I call) OEM disks for like $12 that have no packaging but this time this was the best deal I found at the store. B&H still better than anywhere else of which I’m aware.

You know what you get when you open the package which are tested discs by the manufacturer! Always worry free each one is flawless. The next choice for regular backups at a reasonable price should be Verbatim if you wish for reliability and value. I always keep a few on hand when I am wanting to say to myself yes I am sure anything I put on it actually was a proper copy without errors. I am confident the copy worked and usually don’t check it over but when I do, yup yup it copied!

Burning a Void Linux .iso with a good SHA256 signature starts and fails in a 2009 iMac running High Sierra (twice) and a 2010 iMac running Mojave. Unexpected, thIs was.
