Verbatim BD-R Blu-ray 25GB 16x White Inkjet Hub Printable Discs are single-sided, single-layer, write-once Blu-ray recordable discs. They enable recording and playback of high-definition video (HD), as well as storing large amounts of data. A single-layer disc can hold 25GB, which can be used to record over two hours of HDTV.
It uses a blue-violet laser to read and write data while current optical disc technologies such as DVD use a red laser. The shorter wavelengths of the Blu-ray technology make it possible to record more data on the same space. These discs are safeguarded with a superhard coating, which protects against everyday wear and tear.

Verbatim Blue Rays Spindles are amazing I have burn them and so far had not a single failures. On top it can burn them at 6 SPEED. Although I always burn at the slowest speed in order to avoid artifacts or PIXELLATIONS. The best thing I bought them from B&H amazing price and service. I guess B&H are doing their homework when shopping for a product.

GOOD BLU RAY

Useful for backing up larger amounts of data. Great to not have to use paper labels – they can cost around a dollar each, by themselves.

we use about 500 to 800 of these per year and switched to verbatim exclusively we have very little errors unlike the problem we were having with ridata also the imprint quality is better

I’ve been buying these discs for years now and never had a proble (knock on wood). They are very good quality and the print surface is a nice matte finish for printing on. I would definitely would recommend buying these discs.

I use these to burn wedding videos. Quality is excellent….no dropouts and no bad disks. I highly recommend.

Good discs, haven’t had an issue with them yet. Inkjet printable label is nice for that extra professionalism – or, just to have a clean area to write things in with a Sharpie.

I have learned from many experiments with other brands of optical disc over the years that Verbatim is always the most reliable. It’s not just the BURN quality but also the PLAYBACK quality. Some media will give you no trouble during burning but exhibits play back issues on a set-top box (DVD, CD, Blu-ray). For me it is not worth the hassle of my clients to have to re-do a disc because it didn’t play back. Verbatim discs have limited this issue to almost 0% of my projects burned to disc and these BD-R discs are no exception.

Well, it’s pretty simple. Verbatim blue rays work. Unfortunately, with a MAC, I’ve had trouble burning blue rays with Toast and my external LG burner, but it’s not the fault of the disks. I like the surface of the Verbatim too, as I can easily write on them with a sharpee

Burned 30 of these so far for an indie short film project. No coasters as far as I know. Note, these are not glossy, as mentioned by a previous reviewer. They are a bit glossier than matte.

We always buy Verbatim discs for all our production needs. Top quality discs! B&H should get extra kudos for doing such a great job in packaging these discs for shipment. Other vendors we’ve ordered from have shipped these discs in a box with some loose packing peanuts or thin bubble wrap, causing the contents to shift and cracking the top/bottom discs. B&H, on the other hand, does an awesome job in packaging, using PLENTY of THICK bubble wrap and properly securing the discs in a box of their own (then placing in a larger outside box). This means the discs stay put during shipment and do not shift! No damaged discs! Great job, B&H!

I use these regularly for backing up Final Cut Pro X projects. Burn speed is acceptable but depends largely on the connection between the burner and the computer. This is an inexpensive alternative to LTO and the discs are rated to last decades as long as they’re kept in a stable environment. I also recommend burning to optical discs to archive rather than leaving data on hard drives that inevitably fail much sooner than optical media. My current batch had only one failure out of the 50 pack and that was likely because I bumped my desk when I left the room. Burning on OS X with Toast 14 and a Pioneer portable Blu-Ray burner.

Reliable Blu-Ray disks. The hub printable is not so shining as other DVD ink jet printable

I’m a wedding videographer and just jumped into the blu-ray boat. The first burn was good with these discs. I’ve used this same brand in dual-layer dvd and have had no issues. This product is perfect for my needs as a small business owner. No complaints here. I have yet to print on them but I’m assuming if I purchased the same brand in dvd, that the blu-ray is the same printable cover. These allow for some awesome prints.
