Verbatim BD-R Blu-ray 25GB 16x White Inkjet Hub Printable Discs are single-sided, single-layer, write-once Blu-ray recordable discs. They enable recording and playback of high-definition video (HD), as well as storing large amounts of data. A single-layer disc can hold 25GB, which can be used to record over two hours of HDTV.
It uses a blue-violet laser to read and write data while current optical disc technologies such as DVD use a red laser. The shorter wavelengths of the Blu-ray technology make it possible to record more data on the same space. These discs are safeguarded with a superhard coating, which protects against everyday wear and tear.

Never had a bad disc in 200 burns. My burner hits 10x on these, so burn times are staggeringly fast. Oh, and they are Verbatim, what else do you want?

I have been searching for printable Blu-Ray Discs to use with our Primera printer for months and I came across these. They are the only company producing them as far as I know and the quality and price is great!

I produce wedding and corporate video. These disks burn perfect every time. I have never had a bad disk. Printing could be a little better. I wish they would come with a glossy water resistant surface.

I constantly am burning discs for my wedding videos whether it’s DVD or Blu-Ray but I continue to use Verbatim and always will. The printable discs are great too and print incredibly well with my Canon printer. The durability and shelf life of these are great as well. I’ve had DVD’s from over 10 years ago burned on Verbatims and they play perfectly. Would recommend to anyone!

I bought these discs to use primarily as back up media to my XDCAM SxS cards. So far every disk has been error free and that’s a good record compared to some of the lesser brands of DVDs that I’ve bought.

Today, most couples want their finished wedding photos on a USB flash stick. Often the clients will misplace or format their wedding pictures by accident. Then I get the call. The truth is, storage that can be re-written is not reliable. Sure I back up to hard drives, but blu-ray drives are a sure bet. I have blurays that are at least 15 years old. These work perfectly. http://www.kolodnyphoto.com

Bought 100 (Disks/2 packages) of them. Shared video with fellow travelers (30) and they loved it. Blue Ray makes it look great.

I have purchased several hundred of these discs and have not had a single failure. Not sure if it matters, but I always make sure I order the pack with the exact same barcode.

Phase-change HTL media uses inorganic alloy or composite material for creating high quality Blu-ray discs. An inorganic recording layer means high resistance to the effects of UV light and aging, as well as high compatibility with multiple Blu-ray burners and Blu-ray players. All together this allows HTL BD-R discs to have a tremendously long shelf life with high compatibility across hardware, key factors in a medium that holds your data. HTL refers to the discs reflectivity during recording, changing the material from high reflectivity to low reflectivity.

I switched to these based on reviews. After burning and printing a few disks, results so far are excellent. Compared with my previous disks, these seem to record (on Pioneer) at 16X with no problems (vs 4X previously). The printable surface is much whiter so my 6 color ink jet printer prints more colorful and better looking photographic images. I typically burn High Definition video, 1-2 hours long, 12-18 GB files, and so far haven’t seen any problems burning or playing. I also trust made in Taiwan and am not disappointed.
