Verbatim BD-R Blu-ray 25GB 16x White Inkjet Hub Printable Discs are single-sided, single-layer, write-once Blu-ray recordable discs. They enable recording and playback of high-definition video (HD), as well as storing large amounts of data. A single-layer disc can hold 25GB, which can be used to record over two hours of HDTV.
It uses a blue-violet laser to read and write data while current optical disc technologies such as DVD use a red laser. The shorter wavelengths of the Blu-ray technology make it possible to record more data on the same space. These discs are safeguarded with a superhard coating, which protects against everyday wear and tear.

I bought a new disc publisher to burn Blu-ray discs of several programs I have produced. I usually used Verbatim discs when I burned DVD’s and had generally very good results. When I needed 25 GB printable Blu-ray discs, I did not immediately find Verbatim Blu-ray discs, so I tried a different brand. I had many failures with the brand so I looked again and found Blu-ray 97339 discs. I bought these and have burned over 40 discs now without a single failure due to a bad disc. I have also burned a few of the 50 GB version without any failures. These seem to be excellent discs and are working well for me.

I use these BD-R’s to make backup copies of audio-video content. For less than $2 per BD-R, they provide a very affordable backup solution, with near flawless reliability, and the fact that they’re printable is an added bonus. The only negative is that on my particular drive, it only works at 4x speed. Aside from that, I’m perfectly satisfied with this product.

I’ve been converting 46 years of home movies/videos to disk. I’ve used a Wolverine Super8 film converter (from B&H), a Sony digital audio recorder (from B&H) to capture Super8 sound, a new MacBook Pro (from B&H) to complete the conversion and burn, and these Verbatim BluRay disks. 47 disks later, I couldn’t be happier with the products and service from B&H. These disks have burned without failure (3 sets of 47 disks) which is remarkable consistency.

I have had no trouble at all with these discs, and not even one coaster since I started using them. They are a little more expensive than some other brands, but reliability is worth a lot to me, so I consider them to be a very good value….

Just burned blurays for a wedding film. I used to print labels and attach them to discs, but I recently got a new printer and decided to try out printing onto discs directly. The discs print beautifully and are much better than the older label stickers option.

As a professional event filmmaker, I deliver wedding film on blurays. These are the best blu-ray discs I have ever used. I feel Verbatim has really figured out the blu-ray technology. I have had zero coasters so far. Although the surface is not waterproof, it prints beautifully. I highly recommend this product.

I use these awesome disc to put home movies on, Blu-ray movies,Dvd movies (3 at a time), and I have my whole Music collection on 2 of these disc in mp3 format. These disc are excellent because of the amount of space that you have on these disc to put whatever you want, and if you have a Cd/DVD printer you can also label them as well with any pictures,writing,etc.
