Setup and configuration of the ViewSonic VP3268 4K monitor is simple as it comes equipped with HDMI, DisplayPort, and mini DisplayPort inputs. In addition to video inputs, this display features a USB 3.0 hub, making it easy to connect USB compatible peripherals such as USB keyboards, mice, and hard drives directly to the monitor. Once configured, this IPS (In-Plane Switching) panel offers a 1300:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m² brightness rating, 7 ms response time with OD, and support for up to 1.07 billion colors for a more dynamic picture with reduced ghosting and blur.

Bought this monitor In Feb 2018. Worked flawlessly until recently. 3 weeks ago started noticing greenish purple backlight bleed on corners. This is becoming larger and now shows along top, bottom and both sides of monitor. Admittedly this monitor is advantageously priced compared to others similar, but less than 2 and a half years service for $920 is NOT acceptable.

I received the screen before the schedule date. It is excellent service from bhphotovideo.com The service is excellent. The screen is good, however the button does not have any label on them, it is only coming on the screen when you press them.

While it is a nice monitor it’s plagued with a problem (see photo). Worst of all; customer service, expecting me to pay for shipping of defective monitor of this size (I would pay if I caused damages and needed repair). To top it all off the replacement monitor does not come with full warranty only what is left on original monitor (2 weeks of writing) in other words if I get replacement monitor there wont be any warranty.

I purchased this monitor for photo and video editing. I need vibrant saturated colors. Using the ‘Photography’ Mode shows the most realistic color I have seen. Other features include: Good Price Good Size Reasonable Price Frameless Design Need I say more?

This monitor has been fantastic until I started to noticed green and magenta discoloration in the corners of the screen. It is just beginning, but seeing the photo of the screen with a comparable problem, I expect it to get worse. DO NOT buy this monitor. Viewsonic should correct this problem.

Easy checkout process and really quick shipping… I really appreciate that. This is a really nice monitor, NO PWM FLICKER and NO DEAD PIXELS. Color is great. Only issue is a greenish light bleed on the edges that that messes up color balance in darker image work. It is stronger in some areas and can be seen on the taskbar all the time. This light spreads up a few inches into the screen in some areas. The packaging it came in supported the monitor well and was not damaged. A light press on the display just inside the bezel indicates a cushioned fit inside the thin bezel. It feels fragile. I would hope the monitor did not leave the factory with the bleed condition, perhaps some of the light gaps were caused by movement in shipping at some point so this condition may vary from monitor to monitor. Either way it’s not something I can fix so I will evaluate the options. This condition might be okay for most video or game use but for photography it might be best evaluated in store before purchase.
