Clarity, great color and smooth transitions between frames, no ghosting at all. Love the price I got it for. Overall a great gaming monitor!

Decided to buy a more premium gaming monitor this time and I’m so glad that I did. I’ve been a customer of ViewSonic for years and have always loved their quality of monitors. This is no exception.

For the price I got 299 (with taxes and shipping) and the feature set it has there was no other option at the moment that could compete. Great monitor, has all the ergonomic features needed for the modern office, great picture, G-sync and high refresh rate. Arrived in short time and with the package intact.

This is likely the best 1440p gaming monitor at this price point. It has a refresh rate of 165Hz, supports Display Port 1.4, is VESA HDR certified (although only at Display HDR400), and has native G-Sync support. I went with this monitor over LG’s comparable 27GN850-b for the sake of a higher refresh rate and overall brightness. ViewSonic’s monitor seems to be fairly color accurate with a bit of tweaking, but it loses its accuracy from any viewing angle not dead on with the panel. I keep my pc area relatively dim, so I was afraid that the built in RGB lighting would be harsh and distracting. However, the lighting effects are subtle enough to almost disappear if your aren’t paying attention to them. You could also just turn the RGB off, but where’s the fun in that? This monitor is a great choice for a gamer on a budget who doesn’t want to sacrifice performance for the sake of price.
