For years we have hung the mantle garland with staples. It is stressful and taxing. The hangers are easy to assemble and mount on the mantle. The garland hung easily. It can be a one person job with no staples to dig out of the wood after Christmas.

Well made, stable hangers, with good cushion that won’t scratch your mantel. But, they will only fit your very basic squared-off mantel or rack. I have 2 mantels that they don’t work on, but was able to use them on a long quilt hanger that has a shelf above.
