I really thought the writing ability on this tablet was nice… but unlike the comic, art, and photo, I was disappointed this tablet did not have touch ability, so i’m exchanging it.

I picked one of these up for a few reasons, while editing Real estate photography and drawing in PS. The tablet takes a little bit of getting use to at first, but after about a week it becomes a little more second nature. Having the pressure sensitive pen is nice for painting in exposure, using the brush tool with a layer mask and blending 2 images, Etc.

Picked this up as an on-the-job tablet to take to gigs that don’t have tablets for the freelancers. Figured I would be less upset losing the cheaper sibling to the Pro unit I keep at home. Size is great, and I definitely prefer the way this thing maxes out the usable area rather than the way the pro has a huge amount of useless border space on it. Also love: less buttons to disable, and a physical switch to disable the touch functionality (I don’t need it). The bads: The stylus is utterly tiny and super cheap feeling. And there aren’t any replacements that I can find (the LP180ES does NOT work with these models (CTH690)). Moreover, the cursor has a bothersome tendency to jump in response to changes in angle. Meaning you can plant the tip in one spot on the pad, change your angle without actually moving the stylus’ position and the cursor will MOVE. Not a huge deal, but it’s an occasional surprise that would make me angry if I were an illustrator! Also, the distance at which the tablet will read the stylus is shorter than with the Pro models, meaning you need to hold the pen closer (if, like me, you only go pen down to click) while you work. Overall, though, I’d put it on equal terms with its more expensive cousins in the Pro line, considering the weird bugs/flaws those have as well.

I got this to use with my iMac and it has been working wonderfully! I have even been able to trace a pattern placed on to of it. Using the different pressures, you can make lines go from light to dark, by just pressing harder. Great size for my desk and all around happy with the product!

it is not easy device for me. I hope I didn’t make mistake buying it. Why it hasn’t a separate detailed book how to use? Tadeusz

It works as a pen tablet. Great product.

Works great for photographers, love the size and was easy to get up and running with your computer/software.

I recently purchased this and the wireless kit, and I haven’t used my mouse since. There is a bit of a learning curve, but once you get used to looking at the screen rather than where your own is, this is great for pretty much any design use. I work in illustrator, inkscape, Photoshop, autodesk fusion, and other 2d & 3d design and have adapted quickly in all and it has sped up my workflow noticeably in all areas. Can’t speak would like if it was a little larger, but for a low end model it works wonders and is in no way inhibitively small. All in all love it and won’t be turning back.

This size accommodates my needs. The pen is sensitive to perfection and is responsive to my editing style. I love the adaptable buttons on the top. For the price, the tablet is well worth it.

I wish the bouton layout was like the first Intuos. They were more diagonal. I wish they bundled the pen with the eraser. Other than that, it’s my bread butter tool and I wouldn’t choose any other brand. As a power user, I’ve been using Wacom since college and I’ve had no issues; Windows or Mac.

easy to learn, very friendly. I love it

This is a great intro drawing tablet to find out if it’s the thing for you, especially at the sale price.

Thank you, this arrived very quickly and was just what we needed for my son’s writing tablet

As indicated, however the feel of the stylus and tablet aren’t as nice as I was expecting. Still trying to get acquainted with it. Overall, it does what I expected.

This drawing pad is well made and functional.

I cannot get this to work with my Mac (macOS Monterey V. 12.5). I am sure something needs to be fixed by Wacom in the software. It is frustrating and I have researched and done all the tricks in order to make it work, but it won’t. It sits on my shelf and collects dust. A $40 paperweight.

At first I was a little skeptical about using this. I’ve had a few friends highly suggest that a tablet would help accelerate my workflow for photos and videos. I do have to say that even with all my years of just using a track pad and keyboard, I found this to be a really nice addition to my workflow!
